Lovely couple of hosts, very homely and welcoming. Great situation, great beach only minutes away. Great golf courses abound. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good too. Very dog friendly with Harris the golden retriever welcoming everyone who brings a dog.

A wee gem of a place to stay, it was in a quiet area not much to do unless you were driving although there are buses available into St Andrews. Golf courses nearby. The hotel was lovely. Room was spacious and comfortable, we had a good nights sleep. A good selection of teas and coffee in your room and a nice selection of toiletries. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Its just a small hotel but you soon feel part of the family, not much seems to bother them, you will get a very warm welcome especially from Harris the dog.

Lovely break in Fife
We were warmly greeted on arrival by Annette (and Harris!). Our room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Excellent breakfast - we ate in The Scranhoose on three evenings and on each occasion the food was home cooked and of excellent quality and value. The Inn is in a great location to explore the local area and it was so good to be able to relax in the bar at the end of the evening. Thank you Annette, Maxx and Ann for looking after us so well!

The Inn is sweet - small bar - but very welcoming - dining room excellent. Our bedroom was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable and warm. Loved the old shutters

Absolute Comfort and Delicious Food.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Annette and Max were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay immensely and will return.

A comfortable stay . Hosts were very welcoming and friendly . Breakfast was very good . Location excellent for visiting places in both directions . Felt rooms were rather overpriced as this was a small inn rather than hotel but appreciate this is an expensive area to visit so will have been priced accordingly . Harris the dog was a great talking point and such a lovely pet. However there was lots of dog hair around so if you are allergic to dogs this may not be for you .

Just returned from a great weekend stay at Inn at Kingsbarn. Annette & Max were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is dog friendly our boy loved his sausage for his breakfast. Will definitely return.

Excellant stay, highly recommended
Return visit and had a lovely stay. Owners remembered us and we were made very welcome. There were some changes to meals due to covid and staffing shortages but the owners still managed to provide a lovely bbq on Saturday and excellant breakfasts on both days. Emphasis on a personal service, very homely, Snnette and Maxx genuinely interested in their guests. Cant wait to return again. The Stephensons

Great Locale near to Beach Pet friendly
Lovely room on ground floor which was perfect for our stay with our dog Ailsa. fab walks to the beach and a fantastic breakfast. Even a sausage for the Pooch. really nice hosts and made to feel very welcome.

A very personal welcome and safely accomplished. Rooms were of an exceptional standard with all necessary requirements. Food was outstandingly good again taking into account all safety measures. A quiet peaceful setting in addition to the walking facilities around mean we will definitely revisit.

An excellant Inn with a fantastic owner.
Had a fantastic stay. Annette was extremely welcoming. We had some very specific medical/dietary requirements and Annette helped us manage these during our stay. At no point did we feel it was a problem or felt we could not ask for help. Annette even purchased some specific items for us. Very friendly, fantastic food and superbly clean, well furnished and welcoming. Thank you.

Great stay at The Inn - we were in the area to look at wedding venues, our lovely host showed us pictures of weddings she had attended at the venues we were visiting. Very welcoming, lovely room complete with luxuries like robe, slippers, bottled water, fruit etc Cosy restaurant, great food, full breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Very warm atmosphere. Highly recommend this lovely little find. The food is home fresh very nice Very reasonable. I will definitely return here again On a Sunday I would recommend breakfast served until 10 as it is a break and not business at the weekends

Very small Inn - rooms cramped and all close together so very noisy as you can here everything adjacent Very friendly and helpful owners and staff We felt it claustrophobic because of the small rooms and proximity of other guests whether that was in the breakfast area or noise from rooms adjacent

The perfect choice in Kingsbarns!
Very clean, beautiful inn outside of St. Andrew's. Craig, the manager, was over-the-top welcoming, helpful in many ways, and the food was the best we had in 11 days of traveling. We wanted accommodations near but not in St. Andrews, for something a little quieter and more intimate, and it exceeded out expectations. Thank you Craig, Max and Annette (Annette: your culinary gifts are remarkable!). We will sing your praises to anyone going your way!

Faultless and fabulous
We stayed 2 nights with our small dog at Glasgow September holiday weekend. Hosts were charming and went out of their way to make us and our dog Bobby welcome. Accommodation very good with lovely spotless bathroom. We had dinner both nights and food was outstanding. We shall definitely return.
