"Akbulut Konak is a beautiful old Ottoman house set in its own peaceful garden just far enough out of the old town but still walkable. The host is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade jams, cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries. We coukd not fault our stay here in August and woukd recommend to everyone."

"The Kadıoğlu Konağı is a beautiful historic building, close to the center of the historic distric. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is really outstanding. Eating in the garden was such a pleasure. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the owner, who arranged a taxi for us to visit a nearby village. "This is a nice old property which could do with some updating (bathrooms). There are lots of stairs which could be an issue for some people. We stayed for 2 nights the breakfast was great. The restaurant and bar were not open and we had no housekeeping during our stay. "

We arrived later in the evening and after a full day of driving and sightseeing, it was lovely to be able to know everything would clean and comfortable. The room was well designed, confortable sheets and bed (though it was a small double and not a queen or king). Crabtree and Evelyn shower products. Lovely view. "
