Family holiday for 5 with two rooms adjoining which was a relief. Nice accommodation with good beds and cleaned daily. They gave pool towels which was so handy. We had the breakfast buffet daily there which was good but the same menu every day. Staff not great at clearing the tables and not very helpful service. Overall lovely pool which was great fun for all and tennis too. The hotel was a short walk to a lovely sandy safe beach day 10mins. We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing

Decent hotel, no extras.
No frills attached hotel. Some things were a little odd about the hotel but werent a huge problem: no TV, there was a cable outlet as well as power outlet on wall infront of bed so it looks like they skimped out on this one. Air conditioning was loud. Breakfast (or food in general) was of poor quality, so skip out on this if you are hungry and want a meal. If you are sensitive to noise then this may not be for you as it is full of children. Overall however for a decent nights sleep and a pretty nice and spacious pool this was priced reasonably.

Great stay in a beautiful resort
Great resort at a very affordable price. Very nice and prompt service, clean basic room, and beautiful views of the sea. We had just a one night stay but had great time. Walked down to the town which had plenty of restaurants right on the sea and great nightlife.

very good overall experience ... my only negative was the room lacked a television ... I am not sure whether this was due to rooms being renovated and they had not completed adding a television ... none the less that is unacceptable for a place like this but this was not a must for us but could be for someone else

Great Hotel and Staff
Langley Resort Almyrida Bay what a wonderful location just a short stroll from Almyrida and its wonderful Beach and restaurants, this has been our 3rd visit to this area in the last 14 months, 2nd to this lovely Hotel. Special mention to some lovely staff, Rebekah, Ulrich and Phillip, thank you. Hope to be back soon.

July '15 Langley stay
We booked a standard room, which was fine, but quite dated compared to the rest of the hotel. Staff throughout the hotel (cleaners, receptionist, dining staff) were excellent. Pool and dining facilities were also of a very high standard. If we go back to Crete I wouldn't hesitate booking the Langley again, but would probably paid for the upgraded room next time.

Our room was basic but had a lovely sea view. The breakfast had a good variety to choose from, I especially liked the fresh fruit and nuts. The grounds are well kept and a lovely swimmimg pool. The walk to and from the beach could be a bit far for some.

Thoroughly enjoyable week.
Owning a Villa in nearby Kambia since 2000 I know the area well but travelling with just my grandaughter and 4 year old great-grandaughter we decided to stay at The Langley, attracted by the Kids Club which would give the child the opportunity to meet and play with other children. The Kids Club was a disappointment. Expensive and just a few organized events during the week. This apart the pool facilities, the food, the cleanliness and the service was second to none. You can be very proud of your hotel and the staff who make it work so well. Although only a 10 minute walk from the centre (and beaches) of Almeritha it is quite a climb up the steep gradient to the hotel so we had to hire a car, but this aside, a great place to stay.

The Langley is a decent hotel with a fabulous pool area. The staff are pleasant and friendly and generally helpful. The room itself is really disappointing, with tired decor and looked nothing like the hotel pictures. The twin beds were like camp beds and OK to sleep on for a week. The other beds were a sofa bed, which was not in the room description, so I hadn't been expecting this. It was really poor and uncomfortable and our room had about 30cms space to move between the beds. The air conditioning and fridge cooler worked after about 24 hours of the electricity being switched on, and it was very effective. Otherwise, the balcony is nice, the room clean, with daily maid service. The pool area is lovely, very clean and really stunning. There is a pool bar and sunbeds (but get up early to put your towel on one or you will never get one!) This is a Swedish family hotel, so English is a minority, which was apparent on an excursion as the commentary was entirely in Swedish. The food was not great either. The hot breakfast food such as scrambled eggs was always cold and there was bacon and sausage, which was awful. There was muesli, yogurt,fruit and bread, but it was all uncovered and a prime target for flies. The dinner buffet expensive and just as poor. In Almyrida there are lovely places to eat breakfast such as Francoise, so go there instead, and plenty of good tavernas too. Love Almyrida, and the hotel was OK,but we did love the pool area!

Definately a Hotel for Families
We arrived after the reception had closed but our room keys had been left in the bar for us. The rooms were basic and dated but the airconditioning was a bonus and worked perfectly. The pool area is lovely and there was always sun beds available. Breakfast was the same every morning but there was plenty of choice. As our room was in the main building above reception we were lucky to be able to get Wi Fi in our room. The location is superb, just 10 minutes from the beach where there are plenty of excellent restaurants. There is a bus service from just down the road into Chania, several times a day, well worth going there. It is definately geared to families with young children.

The pool is great for both adults, kids, and babies. It has a bar and seating area next to it. The only thing missing was a hairdryer and iron in our room. Beds were comfortable and our balcony was a great living extension to our room.

Un conjunto agradable a pocos metros de la playa
Un conjunto con varios departamentos separados, cada uno con terraza, muy agradables. Solo considerar que hay que subir escalones los cuales estan pesados si llevas mucho equipaje o tienes algun problema para desplazarte.

Hade valt att bara beställa rum och valde till frukost. Hade hört att Langley skulle vara väldig bra med maten. Tror att förväntningarna var för höga. Frukosten var sådär och personalen verkade vara nybörjare och kunde inte ta rätt beslut när det gällde att ta fram frukost och plocka. Kanske var de för få anställda. Receptionen var mycket bra, men helhetsintrycket av hotellet levde inte upp till förväntad standard.

Nydelig hotell, perfekt for avslapping
Hotellet var akkurat som forventet, iht både bilder og beskrivelser. Det er rent, hotellpersonalet er kjempehyggelige, frokostbuffeen er god, og bassengområdet er upåklagelig. Det var for det meste barnefamilier der, men for oss fungerte det ypperlig for ferieavslapping. Hotellet ligger kun 5 minutters gange fra havna med restauranter og strand, hvor vannet var krystallklart. Vi vil absolutt anbefale dette hotellet :)

Hotell med utsikt
Fint hotell som ligger et lite stykke unna sentrum. Enkle, rene rom med nydelig utsikt. Veldig fine omgivelser på hotellområdet, med basseng og bar/restaurant. Noe bråk fra bassenget og "barneklubben", så dette passer nok aller best for barnefamilier.

Pire hôtel de nos 2 semaines en Crète
Nous avons pris 5 hôtels différents pendant nos 2 semaines en Crète. Dans cet hotel l'accueil fut glaciale, là réceptionniste nous accompagne même pas à notre chambre mais nous en indique la porte de loin. Une chambre qui n'a rien à voir avec les photos que nous avions pu voir des différentes chambres (elle se trouve dans le bâtiment principal). Les meubles tombent en ruine, sont bancales, les poignets des tiroirs restent dans nos mains. Deux prises dans toute la chambre mais tres mal placées. Moutons de poussière sous les lits. Et le bruit n'en parlons pas car entre les portes qui claquent et le fait qu'on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir impossible de se reposer... Bref à déconseiller...

Dåligt städning, ofta sand i sängarna. Vi beställde handburgare men fick inte välja hur vi ville ha köttet och fick det väldigt rosa ( av svensk personal) AC:n funkade men den blev snabbt full med vatten och började droppa(väldigt störigt) skulle ge rummet max 2 stjärnor. Ett + Det var en fin pol och bar

Very nice resort, specially for families
Nice area, good for families. Rooms had good air conditioning, bu they were a bit out dated and my wife didn't like the toilet. We still enjoyed our stay very much and would give 4/5 (because of the toilet and no safety locker). We had a car for a week and drove all over Crete. The resort is from a walking distance to the lovely towns of Almyrida and Plaka. Would highly suggest this place over Chania.

Fantástica opción para unos días de relax
El hotel está situado en una zona muy tranquila, a 5 minutos andando del pueblo, lo que permite poder estar relajado con estupendas vistas desde las instalaciones, y salir a cenar caminando al paseo marítimo. Además es un punto estratégico perfecto para visitar la parte Oeste y central de la isla. Las habitaciones son grandes y agradables, con camas muy cómodas. Como aspecto negativo, en el baño hay muy poca luz, no tiene secador de pelo ni amenidades (champú, gel, loción, etc.) y las toallas se cambian únicamente 1 vez por semana, lo que puede ser realmente incómodo para estancias de más de 3 días, pero para estancias cortas no es un problema. Sin duda el valor añadido de este alojamiento es su piscina, fantástica para relajarse!

Ett toppen hotell bade for par och for familj.Bra poolomrade som aldrig kanns stirrig och overfullt. Andra gangen vi bor pa hotellet och de har bra frukostbuffe och lunch och middagsutbud. Fin liten strand i narheten om man inte hyr bil och aker ivag till andra strander.

Middels Ok hotell. Bestilte et rom med sjøutsikt og fikk et hvor et tre tok all utsikten. Ingen påfyll av badeprodukter, svindyr bassengbar. Anbefaler å kjøpe mat og drikke på stranda. Ok svømmebasseng . Skal du være lite på rommet, kan det være et greit alternativ.
