Comfortable and satisfactorily clean. My major complaint: I was booked with my wife and two children on a bed and breakfast basis. We had to forego breakfast completely as we were told that breakfast starts at 9:00 am! We had a ferry to catch in Belfast that morning so we could not stay for breakfast. I have stayed at very many hotels and B&B places all over the world. I have never been to a place where breakfast service starts so late in the morning.

One-night stopover on our way to Larne for the ferry. Very comfortable, clean and spacious room, comfy beds and a very nice breakfast. We have impaired mobility so booked a disabled access room. The bathroom was a wet room and was clean and tidy, but after showering the floor was extremely slippery which was quite scary for someone such as myself who has poor balance.

Room was cold, heating was not on, snowing outside, I asked for additional heater, and was told no, as it was a health and safety issue? So spent the night in the room with my jacket on!

No sleep
Kept up all night by a fighting couple in the parking lot. The parking lot sits right next to all the hotel room windows, so when patrons of the bar restaurant leave, it is right at your window. Spoke with owner in the morning, not realizing who he was, and he acknowledged that he knew who it probably was, which tells me this happens often. Sad.

I am very sorry you did not have a good experience with us . The couple that were arguing where residents that had fell out and were in the next room to you , this does not happen often . We are a local pub/restaurant with live music at the weekend and we try to get our happy singing customers to leave as quietly as possible . Max (owner)

Gem in the heart of Ballyclare
Spacious and well-appointed rooms. The reataurant is extremely good and the breakfast should not be missed and will keep you going all day. The pub is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect location for exploring County Antrim.

Nice welcome, nice clean spacious room with wet room. The place is in the middle of nowhere, there is a restaurant but we had already eaten so didn't try the menu. Good Guiness !!

OK for a one night stay...
Bedroom was dated with aged furniture, decor could do with an upgrade. Although still clean. I stayed on the ground floor facing the car park. At night people would smoke near the car park door and make noise.

The hotel owners were very friendly, the restaurant was fabulous. Unfortunately cleaning was poor which let them down, bathroom not even wiped over during the 3 day stay, dirty bathroom glasses, sweets from previous guests not hoovered up. This was a shame as the hotel is very well located for sightseeing.

Brilliant guest inn. Only 30 mins from Belfast
This guest in is brilliant. Irish hospitality is renowned but the family that run 5 Corners take it to another level. Nothing is too much trouble, whether it's in the restaurant (food is out of this world), at breakfast (thank you Granny lol) or looking for my misplaced laptop when I called (found in my room). Rooms are spacious and the beds comfy and my room had a wet room bathroom so I was overjoyed. Don't know if they all do but room 3 does. I'm looking for excuses to go back and stay, I was made to feel welcome and at home and I honestly was sad to leave. For the price this is an amazing place.

A great touring/ overnight stay
We stayed here as part of a motorcycle touring holiday of Ireland with my son & a mate. This is a great value hotel with some very good food available. It was very quiet when we stayed but we liked that. The only down side is that there is very little nearby (a bit isolated) but all in all would stay again.

Disappointing
If you arrive with low expectations - you won't be disappointed. On the positive side - the Guiness was very good ( and I'm from Dublin ). The evening food was good and they have an early bird deal where you get two courses for the price of a main course. The staff are also really pleasant. Unfortunately , my first impression of the place was not great. The bar and reception area looks like a throwback to a bad working men's club from the 70's. The rooms are spartan and have shoddy furnishings. The room I stayed in (5) has badly fitted carpets with lumps, tears and black marks. The light above the bathroom mirror didn't work and the bed was not made very well. The mattress was very hard and the pillow even harder. There are brown water stains in the ceiling panels and a hole in the bathroom door. The worst thing I felt though was the quilt cover was threadbare and you could feel the wear from previous guests. Why not have a sheet underneath the quilt and replace it frequently? It felt like getting into an unmade bed. I think presentation is important when you are in the hospitality industry. Breakfast is not included in the rate but is not too expensive - less than a tenner so reasonable value. Don't expect a choice of menu options though. I suppose I got what I paid for but I don't think it'll be on my list for a return visit.

'Top Notch on all accounts'
We recently used this hotel for digs during a project carried out in this area. The team found the hotel to be suitable in every way and were very impressed. They had no problems at all during their stay and happily extended their stay to remain here for the next job even though it was further away than other hotels. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.
