Had a fantastic stay in November for 2 nights. The rooms were good and clean. The restaurant and bar area is lovely with great food served by very friendly staff. About a 20 minute walk into the centre which we enjoyed. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Galway.

I loved my two night stay at this hotel. The room was enormous, bed was comfortable. Easy walk into Galway, free parking. Highly recommend.

Good stay
Very good, clean and large room and very helpful staff. The bar was good with friendly staff. Location was a bit further out of Galway centre than expected and in quite a built up area.

Good experience
Very happy with my stay. Room was quiet and very clean, but pricey for room only. Make sure to eat in the restaurant, food was 5⭐. Will definitely stay again.

Good food and drink. Not a lot to do in the immediate area (at no fault of the Huntsman). The layout was slightly confusing, as you have to walk into the restaurant to check in. Easy check out process, especially if you have prepaid.

This is a lovely place to stay and nice staff. Restaurant and bar right there. But bar patrons are loud until 11:30 pm and some of the rooms are directly over it (ours was). So that was a bit irritating as we go to sleep early. Easy to walk to town or hop on a bus.

The Huntsman is a charming property that is spacious and convenient. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are friendly and considerate. The Huntsman is a great value for you Galway stay!

A bit farther outside of Galway center than I expected, but it was within walking distance. Nothing fancy, but the shower was good. The walls were thin though, so we could hear everything in the rooms around us.

We wanted it to be great…
Mold in the shower. Otherwise the room was fine. However, it’s on a busy intersection. The halls smell like old oil and the rooms were very warm. We opened the window for air but then had big noise and light issues. The person who checked us in was pretty hands off. We never saw anyone else. Housekeeping left our door unlatched after cleaning. It was able to be just pushed open when we returned. Fortunately, nothing was disturbed.

An amazing hotel in a great location, only a 15 minute walk into the city center. The staff was lovely and made the check in/ check out super quick and easy. I felt really safe walking to and from the hotel at night, and overall a great stay!!
