We wanted a location where we could relax, away from the maddening crowds and yet have it accessible to old haunts and catching up with friends and family. We certainly found our oasis here at Hacienda de Goa, within its walls.
The owners/managers Thomas and Susan run the Hotel to a very high standard. Everything was spotless! All staff, whether in housekeeping, restaurant or maintenance, work tirelessly and seamlessly on site, trained exceptionally well by the owners. There was always someone to assist with a smile and friendliness which I do miss very much! It certainly felt like leaving family when we said goodbye!
The selection of food served at the restaurant was very good and this applied to breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Room was so so..not very well maintained..as the floor wooden sticks were loose...There was one split ac in the room and bathroom has no ac and it becomes so hot...it was full wooden cottage ..so can expect the heat in the bathroom ;)
the hotel is clean yet in need of some upkeep like repairing the pool area. The hotel is very clean and the grounds are maintained well. A quite alternative to the beach hotels however please note that the hotel is at the top of a hill (a little less than 1mile from beach). Not a bad walk theough town but the "hike" up hill would have been nice to be avoided. Overall good expierence
Its a nice small resort with a nice swimming pool. Stuff were nice and they let me check in early although check in starts at 2pm. Room is very clean and toilet with shower/hot water is nice also.
Moreover, room service is available and house keeping is there. There is also a TV with some cool channels for music and movies.
The only little problem that i didn't feel was some construction works near the hotel.
Location is not bad, its near starco junction the live spot in Anjuna. So its not very near to the beach, which you may consider a bike if you wanna stay here.
overall its a cool experience, and would stay again there.
A very laid back calm resort with a decent large swimming pool, few indoor games, relaxing chairs outside room, decent rooms.
They have got a decent restaurant as well. The made to order food was delicious. Morning breakfast could have been better.
Backpackers and other visitors flock to these two coastal villages, which boast sandy beaches and distinctive red cliffs above the sea. Known for its party scene, it's not unusual to find DJs from around the world spinning it at the local bars. Rent a scooter to get around the countryside, check out the popular Wednesday flea market in Anjuna, and then watch the sun set over the Arabian Sea.
