"This cabin was extremely cozy, comfortable, and well appointed. It reminded us of the kind of cabin where families gather, relax, and spend time together. The cabin sits up on a bluff along a peninsula, surrounded by woods and beautiful views. The setting is peaceful and secluded, and we saw lots of deer and turkeys during our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.Getting to the cabin involves traveling up a dirt road with a steeper grade. If you arrive at night, you may wonder for a moment if you’re going the right way, but keep going! It’s worth the drive.The hot tub is on the smaller side, although it is set up for more than two people. Since only two of us used it at a time, it worked perfectly for us.This is not a brand-new, five-star resort-style cabin, and I mention that simply as an observation for anyone looking for that type of property. It has a wonderful rustic cabin feel and was extremely comfortable for our group. ⁷We loved the cabin and really enjoyed our time there. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful getaway with beautiful bluff-top views, plenty of wildlife, and a classic cabin atmosphere, this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some time away."

"Clean room and helpful staff. We were a bit put off by the large spots in the carpet. It appeared to have been cleaned but I would suggest replacement. Breakfast was pleasant with a separate room for dining. We were surprised that it was a motel, we were not expecting that and it was not clear in the property description."
