The best time to visit Angkor Borei is during the dry season, from November to April, when the weather is most agreeable for exploring.During these months, you'll experience lower humidity and less rainfall, making boat trips along the canals and exploring the ancient sites much more comfortable. Temperatures are generally warm but pleasant, especially in the early mornings and late afternoons. This period is ideal for those who prefer to avoid the heavier rains and higher water levels of the wet season. For those interested in seeing the area at its driest, with clearer skies, December and January offer the coolest temperatures within this period, often considered the peak season for visitors. The waterways are still navigable, and the surrounding countryside is accessible. While the wet season (May to October) brings lush greenery and higher water levels which can be appealing for some, it also means more frequent and heavier rainfall, which can sometimes disrupt travel plans and make certain areas less accessible.
