"This was the highlight of our trip to the midi-Pyrenees. Set in a tiny village in rolling hills, close to many delightful medieval towns and the amazing city of Albi. (best to locate on google maps on phone - not the TomTom) Isabelle made us very welcome - she emailed me 2 days before to ask what time to expect us, if we wished to have dinner, and any food preferences.. "We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. Very relaxing stay
"Very private and relaxing stay the Pictures of the terrace do not do it justice and we had fantastic weather and so made the most of the pool which is in the sun all day. We would definitely return again the only thing I would mention is the bedding and mattresses could do with an update. Thanks for your hospitality!"
