"Lovely stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and treated us like royalty during our stay. The Riad is beautiful and well located. A bit out of the chaos but accessible by car so no need to worry about dragging your luggage miles through cobblestone."

"The hotel is situated in amongst the lanes so very convenient for shopping but very close to the tannery if the smell is an issue [did not smell inside the hotel] - arrived in car and satnav took us to an area that was full of locals and fairly intimidating - I walked up to the hotel [most people helpful on directions] and was greeted by VE~RY nice staff and one came down with me to negotiate a parking spot! All a little sketchy but we left the car and it was still there when we left! The hotel is beautiful inside and very boutique styled with a lovely atmosphere. The owner was lovely and very knowledgable as was the main guy Mahdi he was always available for help or advise, as were all the staff to be honest. Overall I would say it is a lovely hotel and would stay there again"

"Yusuf and Abdul went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was the best we had during our time in Morocco. The mint tea was especially good. The location was convenient for exploring Fes. Highly recommend staying here for your visit to Fes."

"Everything about this property has been meticulously designed (including the artful lighting to highlight every facet of the Riad). We stayed in the Royal suite and was throughly impressed by the room and accompanying service - every interaction was professional and polished. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. I would not only recommend this beautifully restored establishment, but also look forward to my return."

"Riad Alya was incredible! The room was beautiful, spacious and very Moroccan. I felt like I was in a museum and couldn’t stop staring at the amazing ceiling. Then you walk out in the center and it’s hard to take it all in. Riad Alya is in a great location, easy to find and every attraction is in walking distance. The moment you walk in Ottoman treated me like family and when I left, I felt like family. Ottoman is the best!"

"This Riad is special, a little oasis in the medina. Communication with the team was excellent with Yasmine getting in touch straight away to help us make the most of our short trip to Fes. Definitely worth getting both the transfer from the train station to the Riad and also a guide for an afternoon to explore the medina. Our welcome was so warm and friendly we instantly felt at home - Yasmine, Alex, Said, Douaa and Mohammed all were so kind and lovely. We had dinner on our first night up on the roof terrace which was lovely. We stayed in the Diamond suite and it was beautiful - decorated with antiques and so much space. The whole Riad is decorated with antiques finds and rich fabrics evoking a bygone era. Many thanks to the team for making our short stay so memorable and we hope to visit again!"
