This accommodation is fairly close to the airport, and has a free shuttle. One can call the shuttle from an airport phone and they are there, in ten minutes. The accommodation itself is a little tired appearing, and in need of some repairs ie the grout around the bath tub was mouldy. There was a small fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Also, complimentary shampoo and body lotion. We were travellers without a car, and the close by restaurant choices within walking distance were a Wendy's, a MacDonalds and a fish restaurant where we went, and enjoyed an ample bowl of fish chowder. However the motel is on a bus line which goes directly to downtown, in about 15 minutes, so that was handy for sightseeing etc. This was a suitable budget accommodation for our needs.

Great stay! Easy shuttle pickup to and from the airport. Room was clean and cozy. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was a great!

The property was a little rundown. Perhaps most people wouldn't even notice, yet as a handyman, I pay attention to such things. That said, the staff was great, the stay pleasant, the decor amazing. It's worth the visit just to see that. And did I mention it was half the price of surrounding lodgings?

The staff were very competent and friendly. I liked the continental breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and good for the price. There was a lot of street noise and panhandlers in the surrounding area, but the proximity to the airport made up for it. I even had a close run in with a moose there which made for a real Alaska experience. Thumbs up!

At first glance the property looks great. One building looks to have been completely updated, but they have to buildings that are part of the property that have not been. They are terrible. The jetted bathtub was clean, however the jets were black with mold. The caulking around the faucet and the trim of the tub were black with mold. The bedroom looked clean, but the bedding was absolutely disgusting. Called the front desk and she sent someone with clean sheets. Which we made the bed, but after sitting there for a few minutes. Literally checked out. Do NOT stay unless you are for sure in the main building.

Dirty bedding. No additional door security other than a deadbolt above the doorknob. No soap, no shampoo, and no hot water in the shower. Front desk person with unprofessional attitude. I endured 2 nights. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am very sorry to hear this was your experinece, I must say this is not at all how we handle guests or our hotel. I wish you would have spoke to managemnet while you were on site so we could have resolved any issues and looked into these complaints.

I’ve stayed army this place numerous times and the last 3 times things didn’t go well. Loud music in the middle of the night and food on the floor when I walking into a supposedly clean room. No ice bucket, no coffee in the room and card keys don’t work half the time. I’m not sure why this place gets the reviews it does, probably the nice staff and cheap prices. I’m not going back there.

It seemed like the room was forgotten about when it was time to clean. There was something that looked like soup all in the sink, the toilet and shower were not cleaned, and the pull out sofa was broken, which was specifically why I booked the room. It was almost 3am and we were exhausted from traveling, so we just slept on the bed with our clothes on. The staff was friendly, the room was just dirty.

The sheets had not been washed. There was trash in the fridge. There was a leak in the shower. The parking was sparce and dangerous with thick ice. The staff.was warm and friendly.

The main property is clean, convenient and safe. The Annex is terrible. It is separated from the main building and with snow on the sidewalk it is a challenge to carry the luggage two buildings away. The rooms were not cleaned till 5 pm and the garbage bags and dirty towels were in the hallways. The temperature control unit in our room was not working. Very reluctantly we were transferred to the main building. Suggestion : it should be marked on the web page if the room someone is booking is in the Main building (a hotel) or in the Annex.(a motel).
