Sky TV is on hand for any indoor days. When the weather is warmer, unwind on the deck and gaze at the bush and sea vistas - this is the ultimate perch to dine al fresco and soak up the sun and fresh air! Upstairs at this Anakiwa accommodation, bedroom 1 has a queen bed, while bedroom 2 includes a king bed. Downstairs, bedroom 3 is fitted with a king bed, and bedroom 4 has a single bunk set plus a queen bed. Unfortunately the BBQ wasn't working properly (a note had been left on the fridge). So we only found out on arrival which was a pain because we had planned to have a BBQ on Saturday. This meant we had to use the oven. Again, this wasn't brilliant. There were no serving utensils in the kitchen which was a right pain in the proverbial. We were surrounded by birdsong and saw thrush, silvereyes and tui from the deck. We also had views of the water. Just gorgeous. We knew in advance that mobile coverage was unlikely.
