"The room was spacious and the cleaning crew came daily. It was disappointing that the room only had an electric kettle and only 2 small packs of instant coffee were left in the room ( no tea). We also got 1 complimentary bottle of water, and by booking thru Expedia we got a complimentary bottle of local wine. The breakfast selection was pretty much the same every day, but it was a good selection of foods ( meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order). The location of the hotel is good, very close to restaurants and tourist attractions, but there is a lot of work done around the hotel so the area is very dusty and noisy."

"Room was lovely and big. Nice balcony. Views are of the industrial port so “sea view” is technically correct but it’s not what most people might imagine! Nice sky bar (16th floor). Shower and bed both good. Lighting - as so often in hotels - not great. Always had to request towels in the gym/sauna area - lack of checks to ensure they were available. Breakfast was excellent - big choice, good egg station. "

"The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. Considering the cost of the tiny hotel room, that's nothing short of deplorable. You're much better off at a property in the middle of town that charges quite a bit less and gives you a lot more."
