Dump

Posted 26-Apr-2017
Pros: staff was helpful
Cons: everything.
Location: Nothing, not even a convenience store
What a dump. Half the hotel is under construction and construction starts at 8am. Hotel looks more like a hostel than hotel.20 minutes away from town center and 10 minute walk to tram stop. Rooms are dirty and towels look like10 years old. This is a $20 room back home not for what they are asking. Had a non smoking room but whole hotel smelled like Marijuana. I would not recommend this place to anyone

good value hotel as described

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Pros: Cost, beds comfortable, quiet at night, room cleaned daily, room quite spacious, safe in room.
Cons: Need facilities to make tea and coffee in the room. Bathroom needs space to put clothes while you shower.
Location: Some way from centre. We did not see much around it.
hotel as described- good value for money in Amsterdam. Reception helpful -did our airline check in and printed off the boarding passes without any problem. Towels changed daily and room cleaned. Building work starts early Monday to Friday as we were warned. We did not eat at the hotel as we found it suited us better to go into Amsterdam which takes 20 minutes plus on the nearby tram.

Helpful staff & easily accessible

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Location: The location is great. It is 2 minutes away from a Lidl and 5 minutes away from a tram stop which takes 15 minutes to get into the centre.
The staff were very helpful and made many suggestions on where to go whilst in Amsterdam which made our holiday much better as we saw more.

The hotel was okay, about 30 minute journey into the center which was at a responsible price for unlimited travel for a set time. The exterior wasn't great, there were marks along the walls inside and the overall finished seemed like it hadn't been completed - there was a lot of construction going on during the day and was woken up by loud noises every morning. The rooms were nice, to the standard you'd expect and the restaurant at the hotel was good but limited, there wasn't many places to eat other than the hotel in the area, you'd have to travel closer to the center to find anything else.

Good location, easy and quick to get to the centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms, especially hallway carpets needs replacing/refreshing but overall very nice hotel!

Poor condition

Posted 07-Apr-2017
Don't be fooled by the pictures. This hotel is desperately in need of a renovation. I stayed in a room with no heating, shower not working, and even woke up to bugs on my bed! The worse hotel I've ever stayed in.

Posted 05-Apr-2017
Pros: nice people
Cons: not good !!!!!!
i needed a night between flights. it wasnt easy to get there on public transportation. i had to take a taxi which costed more then 30euros. coming back was 17 euros with the hotel shuttle.with that money i coud have stayed in the airport hotels. or to find something in the city center which it much more comfortable to get there.

Not going there again

Posted 05-Apr-2017
Decent not bad. Apart from the fact that there are bed bugs and i have spots all over my skin. Same with my friend. Rude guy at the place where they serve food at night. Got pizza and they even have any type of sauce?.. chilli :. Mayo. Lol. Hotel is quite far from the main places. Good job we bought the tram passes before hand.

Nice clean hotel not too far from centre

Posted 02-Apr-2017
It is a big hotel near the airport area but also quite close to central Amsterdam. The hotel rents bikes in reasonable prices and you cycle to the centre in less than 20 min. Vondelpark is less than 10 min and maximum 15 min to Museumplein. The room was very clean and the hotel is very popular to young people.
