The location is great. A sink to wash cups and glasses in would have been nice. No instruction as to where the rubbishy should be taken. Apart from that it was very good. We would stay there again.

Conveniently located near the center of the city: Close to variety of restaurants Walking distance to the central train station (15 minutes walking Close to the Saturday market place and canal districts Close to bus routes you can hop in and out Good internet access Here are some reasons the average ratings on this place: 1) Cleaning fee (40 euros): Orbits does not indicate any where on the website there was a cleaning fee when I booked, nor notified me of such additional fee. I found that out a few days before the arrival from the property manager via email. The property manager told me that she was surprised to hear that. However, that didn't leave a good first impression. If I had known it earlier, I would have consider other places. 2) The communication: The Orbitz website states only about notifying the place for late arrival after 8pm and the host will greet them at the place otherwise. I didn't have internet access while traveling from Norway to Amsterdam at all times, so I wasn't able to check my email often. I initially notified the property that I would be arriving at 6pm. Although we received an email from the manager asking me to let her know when I would be arriving at the place, it was inconvenient that we had to wait 30 minutes at the entrance. Overall, staying at the place was good. I wished the information above had been available or more clearly.

There was a wifi snafu for the first fun day there. Technician came out the next day and issue was rectified. During that time I was in constant contact with the host and management. They all responded quickly and were very courteous. The apartment was clean, comfortable and location was perfect for me. I would definitely stay there again. Please note, there are no cooking facilities. I didn't need it. The refrigerator and coffee/tea makers were adequate for me.
