It’s a good enough, standard hotel. Has a kind of 1970s vibe to it the moment you walk into the reception area. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean. The bed was bordering on the firm side - pins and needles both mornings.
The weirdest thing of all was that at weekends there is no bar or restaurant, and no room service after 5pm. It was suggested I could call Uber food deliveries!! Gotta say, I’ve never stayed in a hotel where this has been the case.
Breakfast was good, and I’m booked back in again in September, so clearly I’m happy enough. I’m a keen walker, and liked the location - forty minute stride to the Rijksmuseum.
