Very busy place
Felt chaotic at time of check in. Staff especially concierge were swamped but managing. The result was not getting questions answered and getting abrupt and unsatisfactory directions. They were efficient and knowledgeable but lacked time and patience.
The view from our room was lovely. The room itself felt old, shabby, unclean and in disrepair. Bedsheets appeared unclean, carpets dusty, curtain moving rods broken and deformed with pieces laying on the window sill. On day 2, after we returned from touring beautiful Amsterdam, housekeeping had been in and we noticed that the bed was not properly made and sheets remained unclean as before, not enough towels in the bathroom, the room remained as shabby as on day 1.
Breakfast was included in our booking but hostess in dining area informed us that we would be charged extra and that it was not included. When I informed them that we had a print out of our booking which showed that breakfast was included, she allowed us into the dining area and promised to check.
We did not complain about anything to anybody but were happy to leave after 2 days.
