Good hotel very close to central station
Stayed at the Movenpick for 4 nights with my partner, was a birthday weekend trip as our birthdays are 5days apart.
Very nice hotel, we upgraded to a city view with king-size bed and would recommend in doing so.
Room was very clean and tidy, on the 15th floor so had a good view of the city.
Didn't use the spa facilities but did have a look, massage is a bit expensive however the sauna etc is free to use and nobody was there when we looked.
Didn't use the restaurant on the 2nd floor as the menu didn't appeal to us but then again it was Pizza night in the bar/restaurant on the ground floor so our minds had already been made up. Pizza was amazing, had a couple nights in the bar, the Staff there are very friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to go and also to eat, very pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
Ask about deals to attractions, otherwise you can find yourself paying more than intended. Like a day trip to the Adam lookout tower combined with a canal trip from the tower to the Heineken experience for €25. About €49 purchased separately! That said, you can spend hours up the tower and watching the sunset, the ferries across the water are free.
Bad points..none, just a couple of niggles of which one is the WiFi can be a bit hit and miss connecting to in the room and the other is the hold placed on your credit/debit card for the deposit, if using a debit card then a hold/charge will be placed on the card and then refunded in euros on checkout.
