We loved everything about the JL. The staff were wonderful and we loved sitting in the library meeting other travelers sharing drinks from the help yourself area. The GVB is a short walk and the area is peaceful and convenient.

Beautiful unique property in historic museum District. Excellent bedding and a sparkling clean bathroom. The small room was well laid out and very comfortable. The complementary lobby beverages and breakfast were much appreciated. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Fantastic property and accommodation! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Amsterdam :) The staff was excellent, the rooms were gorgeous, and the setup was incredibly easy to navigate and super accommodating.

This is a really lovely hotel, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. They have a drinks fridge with Dutch juices, non-alcoholic beers, and a bar with hard liquor and beer in the lobby, which was a nice perk. The only downside was that there was quite loud demolition/construction directly across the street from our room, which began promptly at 7:30 am and ended around 4:30 pm; this is out of the hotel’s control, but might have been nice to be offered some earplugs or a discounted rate, as it was almost impossible to rest in our room during the day.
