Nice, quiet hotel that’s reasonably priced. Only 20 minutes from Schiphol. Big rooms and large, modern bathrooms. Free parking on-site.

Hotel is comfortable, although the air conditioning was just right above the bed so not convenient to sleep with the A/C on. I usually don’t eat in hotel but the restaurant is very good and the team very nice. Will stay again

Room not great
Hotel looks nice enough from the outside and the restaurant was good but the room was filthy. There were dead insects on the ceiling and I woke up with at least 5 insect bites from the room.

Great stay near Amsterdam
We were three adults traveling . Lovely hotel and very comfortable room. Staff were great and welcoming when we asked for more pillows it wasn’t an issue. The property is beautiful with own free parking (great bonus) well located close to the lovely town centre which has all amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Holland. Property is 11km from Amsterdam well located and with easy access.

the rooms are relay nice and the staff very friendly the only problem was that it is so far from Amsterdam central it took us 1:15 hs with public transportation and with cabs it costs around 60 to 75 euros and took about 30 mins

An oasis during a snow event
My flight was canceled in Amsterdam and found this charming hotel on Orbitz. The pricing was reasonable and the room in person looked like the photos. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. I was a weary traveler who needed some assistance and the front desk personnel were wonderful. They assisted with arranging a taxi the next morning heading back to the airport and called to update my taxi information as the itinerary changed. They packed my breakfast for me to take back the next day while awaiting my flight. They also arranged to begin breakfast an hour earlier to accommodate many of the guest who were in a similar situation as I was in who needed to return to the airport early in the morning.

This hotel is located 30 minutes away (by taxi) from Schiphol Airport. The room was big, very clean and open, the breakfast has a good food selection. The staff is very helpful.

Nice and clean hotel, excelent dutch people everybody know english, very quiet area, the only thing is that is located 15 miles from Amsterdam about 22 minutes you might need car but its worth it. Has a good restaurant and I reccommend the omellette for breakfast!!! Thank you and enjoy this beautiful country!! By the way I'm from Puerto Rico!

Great position for business trip
On business and this was convenient, room was clean, breakfast good, new road in to Amsterdam made that trip easy and quick.

Something changed
the room and bathroom wasn't clean, carpet was stain, after morning cleaning a cleaning rubber glove was left on my suitcase in the room, the water pressure in the shower is ridicules. the TV showed couple of channels and that is all. i have been many times before and that was not the case before. start looking for alternatives.

Nice location for Mijdrecht
Given the limited number of hotels nearby, this hotel was great for my visit to Mijdrecht. However I thought the room could be improved. The room smelled of smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room. Perhaps this is because someone was smoking nearby but it was unenjoyable. There was only one outlet in the bathroom and the voltage would only allow it to work with an electric shaver, not my hairdryer. This was problematic. My room was at the end of the hallway and I thought it would be quiet but there was a lot of noise in the morning, especially the housekeeping staff.

Nice Hotel for Lay Over
We stayed here overnight between flights and had a nice stay; the room was very comfortable and well equipped with a nice, spacious bathroom. The lady at the front desk happily printed our boarding passes and arranged a taxi for the following morning.

An easy drive from the airport
Due to an early flight our of SChiphol, we needed a hotel to spend the night. This hotel was easy to get to with free, easy parking, close by amenities. The room was nicely set up and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. As we are English-speaking and were spending our holiday in Germany, we had not thought to learn any Dutch - but the staff were great at helping us in English. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very tasty and well presented. The wait staff were very accomodating.

A beautiful drive
Loved the drive to the hotel and around. Recommended for those who have a car to drive to the location. The hotel is beautiful with artistic decor. Perfect for those who want to get away from the busy city.

This hotel was listed as one in the Amsterdam and surroundings....it was an hour away and it cost 60 duros and 75 minutes to get there from Shiphol airport by taxi because it was 2am when I got out of the airport. The buses and trains were available but it added an hour of commuting to the museums and Amsterdam sights each day. The advantage for me was that it was a small village in a remote location and the bus trip was through scenic routes. For a tourist booking a hotel overseas please do not use expedia.com. use the Expedia in the country of travel. In any case, the information associated with this hotel was misleading. The same happened to me when I transferred to Rotterdam and booked through hotels.com. The main problem with small villages where there are very few eating establishments is that all places close their doors by 9pm and this is a social timing so a new comer with no contacts would not know. Thankfully, this hotel had microwave pizza available after 9pm. The room was extremely small but it overlooked a neighbor's farm with seed beds and chickens!!1

We picked this hotel for a long weekend near Amsterdam. On first impressions, it seemed close to the main road with nothing near. How wrong. Mijdrecht was a lovely place. We explored Amsterdam and surrounding areas during the day and came back to the hotel for evening meals. Hotel location quiet and staff very friendly.

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were very friendly. Wouldn't recommend getting a taxi they are ridiculously expensive, can get into Amsterdam by bus but it is a long way. Perfect if you want a more rural getaway or stop over though

Nice Quiet Hotel; Exceptional Staff!
This is a nice, quiet hotel in a suburban/rural setting. It is close to Amsterdam for persons with their own transportation, but is not in the city. I would not recommend this for persons who want to enjoy Amsterdam's night life, or who want to be able to walk to any attractions. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They helped answer some obscure questions about the local area, and looked up the answers to any questions they didn't know. Staff helped us feel at home.
