"Our stay was for the Eclipse. The hotel did everything we asked to accommodate us. Even though it was cloudy, we enjoyed the eclipse immensely. I always stay at this hotel for the convenience to the Canadian border and the beauty of the river"

"The motel showed some signs of more modern aesthetics that may be a few years old so it did not give off "outdated" vibes. My only qualms might be that in the bathroom the faux wooden flooring had a spongy feeling to it as it is evident the panels have come up in the majority of places. We spotted a few ants in the bathroom, on the nightstand and on one of the beds. Not a major concern as they were non-existent after those three sightings on the first night. Michael who ran the desk during the day was so polite and extremely understanding and accommodating when I was dealing with an issue with my credit card company while we were trying to check in. We had come down for the total solar eclipse, but didn't check in until after it was all said and done. The motel was giving out bags with solar glasses, bottled water and snacks and he still have us one, which I thought was very nice (some places may have just withheld doing so after the fact). We had a room right off the lobby and on the second night there was a couple boisterous people around 1:30am, but it didn't last long. I've definitely had worse with a room next to the lobby over the years. I'd definitely stay again in the future if I am in the area and need a place to stay. Price was fair, the area was convenient, the beds were comfortable enough for my liking. I suppose my only other complaint is I hate that places still use wifi that navigates to a webpage to confirm as I couldn't use my own streaming device."
