This hotel does not have air conditioning, even if it calls itself a resort. They gave us a fan, which was not enough. It's a property consisting of small houses with 4 apartments in each. Well stacked with dishes, cups, knives etc. Not heated pool.

The facilities are nice and a good value for what you pay. Beds are very comfortable for the main bed but the sofa pullouts are a different story. The bathroom had a stench from the drains. This seems to be a fairly common in Europe. Overall good experience. Please note that this location is not within walking distance to the old town section of Amboise.
The town of Amboise was fantastic and this hotel was equally great. It was perfectly situated. Le Vinci was clean, quiet and very tranquil - a treat to come home to every evening after exploring all the interesting sights around it. The staff were very helpful when asked. Breakfast was '10 out of 10'. I would happily stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Took a while to find hotel. but when we got there found it was a good ,comfortable, clean hotel. We would have liked to explore Amboise but we were too far out of the town. It would be nice to have local transport into the town.
We had the evening meal and breakfast. Both were very nice, possibly overpriced.
Our experience was a good one and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

We went in not knowing what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was charming, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was neat, clean and very spacious. It had a kettle which was a big plus for us. The bathroom was very modern and nice.
Only downside was not having an elevator for our luggage.

Lying in the valley of Loire in central France, Amboise is a small market town on the banks of the river. Leonardo da Vinci once lived in the area and Clos Lucé, the manor house in which he stayed, is now a museum dedicated to the artist. The imposing Chateau d'Amboise looks on the town below and is worth a visit; the panoramic views from the gothic grounds are stunning.
