Lovely stay
Apartment well-equipped and very peaceful site. Great location with some good walks available next to the site too. We had awful weather, so it was great to have decent heating and ability to dry our clothing in the flat.

Wonderful property, but pool was non functional over weekend
The pool was non functional over the weekend. The swimming pool was one of the biggest reasons why we booked this property as that would have kept a 4 year old engaged. The property manager had communicated a couple of days ago that the pool was non functional but will be repaired over the weekend (which didn't happen). We could have rescheduled our visit to another weekend. We paid full price for the property but didn't get full facilities. Overall property was good and the stay was a reasonably pleasant stay. Value for money was not great, without a functional pool.

Short Break in the Lakes.
Although the property is well equipped, we encountered a few issues. Bed was comfortable but Bedding needs updating. Oven needs cleaning inside and oven trays need replacing. Had to cover with foil to be used . Pizza slicer rusty as well as the dish rack/drainer. Could not use the toaster for breakfast as not clean inside.

Wonderful place to stay
The apartment is lovely & had everything you need for a long weekend away. Perfect location for hiking. Our stay was mainly for the Montane Lakeland 100 mile race that my partner was running & Skelwith Bridge is on the route which was perfect for cheeing him on. We would love to come back again one day to explore the area further. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great base to explore from
Great apartment equipped with everything you need. Clean and easy to contact host. Good location to explore the lakes district. The pool has a mechanical failure when we were there which was disappointing but lovely weather made it easy to have lots to do elsewhere. Would stay again if we were ever to return to the area.

A little piece of Lake District paradise
The apartment has everything one can ask for when staying away from home. We were able to cook simple dinners, have nice breakfasts, do our washing, sit on the balcony and relax, and walk around a lovely estate and onwards around a lake and circuit walk. We were located just a few minutes drive from Ambleside and other Lake District locations which visitors to the area want to see. I would definitely stay here again. Paul and Sue are very attentive in responding to questions we had prior to our arrival and keeping in touch throughout and after our stay. A very positive 5/5 from us. Thank you.

Great long weekend. Fabulous location where you can walk straight from the apartment. Place really well equipped, very comfortable. Owners really helpful and responded to our queries before we arrived really promptly. Would definitely recommend.

Our second stay in this lovely, great value apartment. Well equipped,clean and comfotable. Everything works. Fantastic location for some short walks without using a car. A filter coffee machine would be appreciated !

Beautiful property and surroundings
We had an amazing and comfortable stay in the property. Very well equipped with lots of board games, books and maps.We had a little hiccup the water supply but had good communication with Paul. The bed and duvet are very comfortable. Best sleep I had for a while. Will recommend to friends and would love to stay again.

Mountain top lodge
Absolutely fantastic location up among the hills and very close to Ambleside and Grassmere. Nice spot and a good lounge to relax in. Good nature walks up in the hills straight from the apartment.

A wonderful break -thank you
The accommodation was great and perfectly situated so we could get out walking with friends during the day and relax in the evening. We cooked for our friends one evening and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery for everyone. The table tennis was fun and the children made it into the pool, although it was a bit cold for me. What a lovely site.

Magical place
Just returned from a wonderful week in this apartment. The location is truly amazing and the apartment was immaculate, had everything you could wish for. Felt at home straight away. Excellent base for trips to see Lake Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and many more. Cant speak highly enough of our stay, many memories to look back on, just a magical place for the 3 of us. Lovely walks from the door, walk up the hill to the gate and see breathtaking views to the right, turn left up another little hill and see the whole area from the tops which is just beautiful or walk straight ahead down the hill and as far as you want to walk. Peaceful and nature at its best. Would definately stay here again without any doubt. Loved the place

We had a fantastic holiday. The property had everything we needed for our family. We enjoyed using the pool and table tennis. The location was great with the river, tarn and pub within easy walking distance and plenty of options for longer walks. Close to plenty of activities.

Excellent family apartment in perfect location
Third time in this apartment. Excellent location for proper walking or just shopping. Dishwasher, washing machine in the apartment, small swimming pool on site. The only thing missing for us is a little more private outside space (for a BBQ) but you can’t have it all!

Way up in the Trees!
We absolutely loved our stay at Neaum Crag. We arrived up the windy road to find an apartment way up in the trees. A balcony window opened to let in the fresh lakes air. Conveniently close to Beatrix Potter’s house at Hill Top, and amazing lakeside walks.

Peaceful location
The setting for this property is fantastic. Loved sitting out on the balcony and listening to the sounds of nature around us. Pool is an added bonus which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The property is well kitted out and Paul and Susan responded to any queries promptly. Would highly recommend.

A great base for hiking
We enjoyed our 3 nights at this comfortable, well equipped flat kn a great location. It is very quiet and peaceful We really appreciated the opportunity to have a bath after our walks and the walking books and maps provided in the flat were really useful. A footpath runs through the estate sp you can get to Loughrigg and Skelwith Bridge and beyond very easily on foot. Lots of lovely scenery very close by. We would recommend this apartment.

We love Loughrigg
We rented this property in April 2021 just as restrictions were lifted and holiday let’s we’re allowed to open. We loved it then and we loved it again this time. Monkey bingo is a brilliant game. The accommodation is homely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will be back (hopefully every year!) thank you Paul and Susan for letting us stay in your wonderful place.

This flat is well equipped and in a great location, with some amazing scenery and walks very close by. The flat wasn’t very clean, it had stains on the rug, hairs in the freezer and just generally wasn’t very clean.
