no customer support AT ALL
the check in details were so unclear we couldn't access the property and even now, two weeks after our return the customer support teams , local nor national have not called us despite numerous calls throughout every day of our stay , at various times and during the stated office hours to try to contact them. The lines after us selecting options about the call type just rang out( disconnected)Absolutely unforgiveable. We only managed to get a key from the neighbouring house( where we parked) where luckily someone was in, but they expected support to come from their paid agents!! The property itself was not particularly clean, mould on bathroom panelling and several items mentioned in the home info were missing, importantly this included maps and walking guide- clearly no check made of facilities at hand over. - we tried to report, but as mentioned never ever got an answer from the Ambleside office . There was no hand soap at all in the shower room nor kitchen - even public restrooms offer this , and it is such an inexpensive item to provide to improve hygiene. We eventually contacted the emergency number and after several tries did get an answer and a promise that the Ambleside office manager would call us to help= No such call ever received. Location of the property is so nice- close to the Beatrix Potter house, nice walks and two decent pubs, but the managing agents and customer support completely let us down,We are due an apology at least.
