Motel 6 bought this hotel. I had stayed here over a dozen times before and enjoyed it, it was my go-to place to come to town spend time with my kids and relax. The pool was down with no advance notice. My 2 boys wore their swimsuits when I picked them up from my ex's house, like always, and you know how big of a mood ruiner it was breaking it to them. The ceiling fan didn't work and we had the suite. The only ac was in the bedroom so basically I paid for the extra space to use as a backup oven. The wifi was literally in and out, which made PlayStation another source of frustration for them. When we tried to get into the room the first time the keys wouldn't work. 3 trips to the front desk later(3rd floor) and a man came to help that was either deaf and mute, or possibly never heard the English language, not sure which. Paid a cash deposit for incidentals of 150 bucks even though they had my card on file, and I still haven't received it back despite contacting corporate and finding out it had been approved for refund but it takes 7 days to make it through their system. Breakfast was cold toast, 2 dried up sausage links and add water to powder for instant eggs. Ac cover fell off exposing layers of dust on the filter from 1978. Horrible job guys. Please save yourself the frustration people, learn from my mistake. Never again.

I arrived here at 10 PM and there was trash outside of the front door. The pool is not available because they have maintenance happening and I was told it’s open 364 days a year, but just not on the day. I’m here. The gym has broken equipment and the floor is stained and dirty.. Additionally, it is midnight, and I can hear guest who are being loud on different floors in this open style hotel. I will not stay here again.

First thing be aware they charge a 150 incidental which is refunded but that was double of what I actually paid for my room. We arrived just after midnight. There were three other customers waiting. One worker and she was being very polite and was working as quickly as she could. Once we got checked in there was very limited parking so we had park way in the back and the doors all around the property were propped open. You can they hotel has had a facelift but there are still other issues. Once we got in our room which was fine we did have a giant hole in the wall near the shower. The sink leaked and the bathroom all around looked rough. We were only showering sleeping there so it worked for us. We were there a total of 7 hours cause we had to get driving.

The young ladies at the desk were having a personal conversation when I approached. They didn’t acknowledge me so I waved my ID and she said “you have to wait she using the computer”. While waiting the girl with the colored contacts is playing music on her phone with profanities. Very unprofessional. My room card had to be reset every night. She never asked to verify who I was. Terrible security. And then the last night my AC made loud noises starting about 4:30. Didn’t even bother to address it. Was happy to be leaving.

Our stay was barely okay. We enjoyed the heated, indoor pool, and the breakfast included was pretty decent. Staff were friendly. However, the property is badly in need of updates. Some of the exterior doors were propped open our entire stay, which defeated some of the security measures. There was no option for filtered water except for purchase, even at breakfast. Also, pool ours were supposed to be from 9am-10pm. We were woken up at 4:30 am by loud talking and splashing. We believe staff did eventually ask those guests to leave the pool, but the damage was already done.

Hotel is worn down. Toilet kept running all night. Leaky faucet, shower rod about to come loose. No air circulation, felt very muggy even with fan on. Carpet strands sticking out. Ceiling fan did not work. Room has a lot of light switches, but most of them didn’t work. I do not recommend the breakfast bar. Room was clean and friendly service.

Shower didn’t drain so by the end your standing in several inches of water. Black painted low ceilings in the dimly lit rooms make it feel creepy. Won’t stay again.

Great value. I was surprised at how nice it was for the price. Free hot breakfast with bacon and eggs, indoor pool, room had a large fridge with separate freezer, sink in the kitchen area, microwave, and spacious. Not what I expected for 35 bucks on a Saturday. Right off of the interstate and I was able to get my laundry done.
