"Lovely quiet location and very comfortable villa. Our only issue was finding the place because Google maps kept taking us into Maroulas village, and up narrow alleyways that were impassable by car. It was also dark. The owner hadn't given us any local instructions sadly. Other than that, we had a lovely stay, and the beaches on the south coast are beautiful. To help anyone staying there in future: Coming from the coast road, take the right hand turn about 30m after the petrol station. It is v hard to see, even in daylight, and is narrow, but this takes you directly to the villa."

"Everything about Harkia villas was as good as we hoped, from the excellent reception of the hosts through to the cleanliness and the facilities. The villas are in a quiet peaceful location, perfect for those wishing to escape the crowds in the resorts and a car is essential (some may find the road up a little challenging). For me, a perfect location to relax but also to explore the region as we wished."

"One of the best experiences we’ve had. Especially, the concierge service was outstanding. Villa was very clean, nothing broken or “heavily used”. Beds were also very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed and now they also own a sandwich toaster. The pool was very very refreshing, which was a bit unexpected and view from pool is absolutely stunning. Also the personal contact with the host was always quick und transparent. Overall, a very good experience."

"We loved this villa. The location needed a car, but we expected that and as such not a problem. The Taverna Andreas is walking distance and actually I could have just visited there every night to eat and not gone anywhere else. It was excellent. The view from the pool is lovely. The highlight for us was the outside kitchen bbq sitting area, we spent hours just enjoying the space and relaxing. An amazing villa in a lovely quiet location. Michael was easy to contact and communicated with us throughout the holiday, even left a well stocked fridge for us on arrival. It was great being able to open a beer and make some snacks as soon as we got there, loved the watermelon. We could get taxis into Rethmyno with ease and if wanted you can run for hours without seeing anyone. Highly recommended."
