We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is situated relatively high up in the mountain with breathtaking views of the sea and other homes/businesses that are built into the side of the mountain. Office staff was attentive, spoke English. Once you check in the staff gives you a QR code for WhatsApp to initiate texting communication so make sure you download it if you don’t have it already. I found it easier to text them for minor things and they were they provided timely responses. It’s an older property but so is pretty much everything else at positano. You just need to reset your expectations if you generally stay at bigger newer and modern hotels. One thing I didn’t like so much was the lack of insulation. The doors and walls are kind of thin and you can hear what’s going on in the hallways. The TV has capability to cast your phones Netflix or YouTube. Overall the room is classy, well lit, and has a positive energy to it. The in room breakfast was absolutely amazing, on point, and excellent quality with many foods to choose from. I love this place and wouldn’t have any reservation recommending it. I did not use it but they also offer taxi service to NAP international or central station.

Everything was PERFECT! Spent three nights here with my husband and we felt like king and queen. The staff treated us like a family- the breakfast spread was amazing, they cleaned our room everyday, the view of the room was magical. It is a 360 view of Positano! We will definitely come back in Positano and stay here at Villa Yiara again! If you are going to Positano, DO NOT HESITATE AND STOP BROWSING FOR MORE. BOOK VILLA YIARA NOW!

Staff was super friendly and hotel was very nice with amazing views. Parking was also very easy, safe, and convenient and breakfast was great. However the room was overpowered with a floral scent. We removed all the flowers and left the doors open but the overpowering scent didn't clear until morning. It kind of ruined what would have otherwise been a fantastic stay.

This was a real find in Positano: rooms are bigger and better than at Le Siranuse, breakfast was excellent, service was excellent, complimentary parking (if you drive a really small car) or paid secure parking just down the street. Very convenient. It's not in the "hottest spot" in Positano but the town is so small is small that everything is walkable...12-15 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurant options along the way. My fiance and I spent 3 magical days there and can say nothing but good things!

We were disappointed in our stay. The apartment smelled strongly of urine, despite efforts to mask it with a strong air freshener. The bed, which frame lies on the floor, is extremely hard. I received no directions for check out. When I contacted the owner 15 min. before the office opened, I was yelled at and told I should have told her the day before and that it was "stupid" of me. What? Totally bizarre and for this price, there are many better options.

Buongiorno and thanks for your review Jenniffer , but i have to tell you that we are very surprise of your words and i will explain also why Regarding the smell,mostly of our guest appreciate Villa Yiara's smell,but this may be a very personal opinion . . but i really don't understand how with a daily clening the appartment semell of urine and why during yur 3 days stay you didn't informe us .Regarding the bed i can understad that you don't like it ,but i would like to let you now that is an hand made wood bed and it dosen't lie on the floor , anyway this is a point that we can improve .Im repling to this review as anopportunity to remind that we send more than 10 mail before your check in informing regarding our check in and check out time(check in is from 2 pm to 8 pm and check out is from 8 am to 11 am ,we don't have 24 hours front desk and the payment is done at the check out.) I would also like to informe to future guest that when you book the APPARTMENT you must know that is not a room but a real appartent without breakfast included and is not located in the min building.This information can be important alo for future guest In your case , Jennifer, you leave out of our check out time and you contact me trought whatsapp at 7,15( not 15 minuts before leaving ). You were leaving without paying the tourist tax and without doing the check out process ( fixing payjmet etc ). I never yelled you dear Jennifer , i just told you that i was coming as soon as i could be ready and of course i explain to you that if were informe the day before we couold have done everything between 8 am and 8 pm ( opening time of recetion). I reallyhope that my reply could help other guest to don't be disappointed of our place Grazie Imara

Another Five star review!
This 3 star villa was unbelievable. Our room was amazing with a view to match. It was our wedding anniversary and the extra details of petals and small bottle of bubbles was a beautiful touch. Yes there are many stairs! BUT as the hotel will inform you! Don’t rely on google maps! That takes you the steep route! It’s a 20 minute road option. There are porters to take your luggage from the port and this town is absolutely beautiful. Positano is very expensive, because of the view/area. So to find a three star in our budget offering 5 star service is amazing! Thank you - we definitely recommend!

My husband and I were so amazed by the beautiful room! We stayed in the romantic double room, pleasantly surprised by a nicely sized king bed. We were here on our honeymoon and were also surprised with flower petals and prosecco in our room. The staff was so friendly. They had great suggestions on things to do and answered all our questions. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Positano!!

We had a great few days stopping at Villa Yiara. The staff were very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help wherever possible. The room was presented very well and had fresh Lilly’s everywhere. The breakfast was massive, more than enough choice for 2 people and was served on our balcony overlooking the sea. They even made recommendations of good local cafes/restaurants and some even offered a small discount.

We absolutely loved this property. Imara the owner was extremely helpful. The views from your terrace are unbelievable. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. You feel very safe. One of the best parts is the breakfast they deliver to your room daily

The room was beautiful and spacious with an awesome view to the sea!! We would highly recommend this property. There is an also a great restaurant just up the street, a 2 minute walk. Excellent food and wine!!

We stayed here for our birthday and everything was top notch. Friendly staff, GORGEOUS ROOM, views were insane from our room/terrace. Hotel was right in the middle of everything. Clean, stylish and chic. The front desk arranged easy parking, made reservations at the beach club and confirmed dinner reservations etc . All around 5 star service in an unbeatable Positano location. Will recommend to everyone we know and can’t wait to come back ASAP!

Our stay at Villa Yiara was fantastic. Imara, Raul and the whole staff are personable, and very helpful. The room was spacious, the amenities in perfect condition, and the views from the room were spectacular. The breakfast served every morning was the best we had during our vacation. We highly recommend Villa Yiara and we will be looking to stay again in the future.

Imara is a great host. The double room for two people actually has a king bed in it with plenty of room for two to sleep. Having been all over Europe I see double room and assume double beds. These are great rooms and the breakfast included is massive!!!

First of all, I totally recommend staying at Villa Yiara. The place was of course nice, clean, and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing too! Out of everything, I really loved the service and staff there. They were so nice and friendly. They are always willing to help you and try to provide the best service! The owner was very welcoming and gave us recommendations for restaurants and made a reservation for us. If I go back to Positano, I would definitely go back to this place!

Villa Yiara is such a beautiful place. From the moment you arrive until you leave, you are looked after by the staff and they will make sure everything is taken care of so you don't have to lift a finger. The team on reception go out of their way to help you book restaurants and ferries and find anything you need. They even organised a taxi to and from the Villa so we could get in and out of Positano with ease. Our room was amazing. We walked in and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The view is breath taking and will make you want to stand on your balcony all day. Breakfast is served in your room or on the balcony and you are spoilt for choice with the food that is served to you. I would recommend Villa Yiara to anyone and if we go back to Positano I will definitely rebook.

Villa Yiara was filled with kindness and a warm atmosphere from the moment we checked in! We had a lovely room with wonderful sea views, even in our standard accommodation! The location is a bit farther from Positano's center, though we found this a benefit since we had more quiet and could still easily reach the beach in 10 minutes. Service was wonderful - the staff were able to help arrange a porter to get our luggage down to port within an hour, just in time for our ferry! We would gladly come again.

This is one of my favorite hotels of all time. It seems like a well kept secret and is quiet and beautiful. It is high up on Positano so be prepared for many flights of stairs to and from the beach. There are wonderful restaurants and the hotel staff is so helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was amazing and loved having our patio with the most beautiful view. I highly recommend staying here!

Villa Yiara was truly fantastic for my wife and my honeymoon stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they provided a ton of recommendations and helped to facilitate transpiration and reservations. The room and wonderful, and the terrace and views were even better. Breakfast was amazing every morning. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience we had, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Positano
