Beautiful boutique luxury hotel and great location

Posted 26-Aug-2015
If you are looking for luxury at a reasonable cost this is the hotel for you. It also has a premium location in Positano for those looking to be close to restaruants, shops and the beach. Staff are great, rooms are large and balcony with views are fantastic. Breakfast was good, though breakfast room as a little small and dark, suggest the 5 euro breakfast on your own balcony option. Be careful with parking garage the hotel recommends next door, it costs 35 euro a night.

Great position but terrible management

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: Proximity to the town centre and the rooms were large
Cons: Better cleanliness, management to actually show they care
Location: Location is on main road so access is good the on;y problem with that is the noise! Beach/restaurants/bus stop/walking are close by, so great for that
We booked a deluxe room but were given an alternative room, the so called royal suite but there seems to be two of theses suites, one which is on the top floor and has a wider terrace/bath/towel rail/hair dryer and the one we were given which was a standard room but with an extra bedroom that we did not need, a small terrace, no bath only a very tiny corner shower, no hair dryer, no towel rail. The sky is actually the Italian sky with a few english speaking news channels. The shower room continually smelt of urine and there is an alarming amount of mould in the shower. On two occasions there was only warm water to wash with. The rooms are not insulated so you can here people above, below and next to you constantly. The management are rude and actually lie to your face! I could not recommend this hotel at all, it is awful.

OK hotell, nær sjøen

Posted 22-Aug-2015
Greit hotell, passelig avstand til sjø. Hyggelige ansatte, vaskehjelpen gjorde nøye jobb, og krevde å få gjøre noe vær dag. Skuffende frokostbuffe, og mye maur som kravlet rundt på gulvet.

Positano hotel - great location

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Pros: Convenience and accommodation.
Cons: N/A
Location: Beach and great restaurants.
We loved our visit at the Hotel Royal Prisco. The staff was very helpful upon our arrival and parking is very convenient. The accommodations were perfect for our family of four. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to walk to great restaurants and the beach. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great location at the top of the little main road!

Posted 12-Aug-2015
Amazing hotel for the location, service, breakfast and price! I suggest everyone gets the Sea View room, it is definitely worth the few extra bucks! There isn't an elevator but there if only two floors so it's not to bad. The staff is very nice and helped us with various activities and showed us the smaller beaches (to the left and right side of the main beach I forget the exact names). The only downside is that you need a room key in order to turn on the lights and AC in the rooms so your room is warm when you get there and takes a bit to cool down, but other wise amazing hotel! I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel with amazing views.

Posted 08-Aug-2015
Beautiful location and views of Positano are incredible. Junior suite has a large private terrace and a Jacuzzi bath. Staff are friendly and the suite was spotlessly clean. Air conditioning in room was not as efficient as it could be but everything else was perfect, a little piece of heaven.

Nice hotel, well situated.

Posted 06-Aug-2015
Pros: Well located. Employees were helpful in finding restaurants.
Location: Easy walk down to the sea and to beaches and restaurants.
Nice hotel in a good location. Short walk up the hill from the shops, restaurants and beaches. They gave good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We rented a boat for the day and toured the Amalfi coast, which was great. Also went to an amazing restaurant at the top of the hill that we never would have found otherwise. Great recommendation for the beach.

Posted 06-Aug-2015
Pros: Everything!!!
Location: 10 minutes to the beach and 5 to so many shops, also there is a little cafe/restaurant 2 doors over and they make great coffee !!!!
We stayed there end of July for 5 days. The location was great , 10 minutes to the beach and 5 to so many shops! The hotel was very clean , bed was perfect as were the pillows!! The view from our balcony was beautiful!! The staff was were really good, especially Pasquale and the lady at the breakfast room.....there was a lady upon our arrival who seemed like she didnt want to be there....polite , but not pleasant. and finally the breakfast was absolutely perfect !!! Nice hotel but quite a way from beach

Posted 04-Aug-2015
Lovely place is positano. The only down side is the beach being pebbly. Not for the elderly as it is steep steps down and quite steep back to hotel. Breakfast could be more variable as it is aimed at the continental person. No pool was a down side also and after being told there was access in other hotels. No there isn't. They don't allow only residence of the hotel in there pools. I know this because I asked.

Hotel royal prisco

Posted 01-Aug-2015
Pros: Spotless,
Cons: The bar area, great for eating breakfast, but not as a bar.
Location: The location great, shops restaurant but if you don't like hills Positano isn't for you.
Hotel very clean, staff very friendly, breakfast lots to choose from. The view was ok but it has a large car park right in front beyond that you have the church and sea view.
