This hotel stay was spectacular. While the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from town, the view from the rooms is easily the best on the coast. The hotel staff are very accommodating, the free breakfast is delicious, and the overall stay is wonderful

Great location while if visiting Vatican City. Staff is great, lobby, restaurant and rooms are very clean and functional.
Excellent restaurants next door. There is no parking at the hotel but there is one just three blocks away and hotel has special overnight rate for guests.
"Nice hotel with a great view and close to Amalfi"
Small hotel within walking distance to Amalfi center and great view of the coast. If you don't want to walk you can take the bus just outside the hotel
The hotel sits right on the edge of a cliff. The room was a studio size but appropriate for us being a couple and taking in consideration the location of being built on a cliff. The view from the room and especially from the dining area was spectacular. Nothing like sitting sipping a glass of wine or a cold beer overlooking the bay.
Breakfast was comparable to other places.
Staff was great especially Carlo who was very gracious in providing answer and suggestions to all our questions.
Parking is at a premium in the area but was able to park at a parking lot very close to the hotel for a fee.
Staff, Enzo, very nice. Hotel on main street but not effected by traffic noise. Inside one sees it was once a Villa but remodelled to contemporary comfort. Nice pedestrian walk way around corner with awesome Amalfi Cathedral with remains of Jesus 1st deciple, St. James. Parking is quite an experience 10 or so walk around a curve in a mountain but as there are 100s of tunnels in Italy, they have a pedestrian one to avoid a street with no sidewalks. Great stay & would do again and recommend to friends. Fantastic breakfast with patio looking at the sea.
Hotel check-in is actually from 3pm, not 2pm. But the location was great, and the views from the terrace were wonderful. Rooms were lovely and it was nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. Secure parking up the road was 20 Euro, and the Host was very nice.

The hotel was in a fantastic location right on the waterside with it's own jetty for sunbathing on and steps into the water for a swim. A rooftop terrace also. The room was very spacious with a fantastic view over the marina although we had a large terrace (room 352) which seemed to be the only one with chairs and table. The shower was amazing with multi-functions including side jets and whirlpool bath. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice.
The only area thing that could be improved in my eyes is that the bar, although open, was unmanned a lot of the time with no means to summon anyone. The prices in the bar are very reasonable, glass of wine was 2 euros!
Overall i'd give it 5/5 and would stay there again if visiting the same area.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Il Nido for two nights while driving from Sicily to Naples. The hotel was easy to find and the staff very friendly upon arrival. When checking in they parked the car for us free of charge which we didn't need during our stay. The walk down to Amalfi harbour was fine for us however some older people struggled with the stairs as the hotel is on the hill. Great views with our own semi private balcony. Breakfast was simple and pretty standard from what we experienced with the few other places we stayed at on our trip. The hotel is right on the coastal road so traffic can be noisey on the balcony however the balcony doors seemed well insulated for sound so the room was reasonably quiet. Showers pretty tight for tall people and the water pressures a bit low. Check out time seemed very casual at 11 or 11:30am.

A charming cluster of pastel houses, shops, cafés and watchtowers, Amalfi seems little more than a village. However it was a great naval power and a wealthy trading republic in medieval times. Its dramatic setting in jagged cliffs cloaked in vineyards is best seen from a boat. Amalfi’s star turn is a gorgeous cathedral with great bronze doors and lacy cloisters. The nearby village of Atrani is quiet and pretty, with a fine Byzantine church.
