The property was close to the hwy but far enough away that there was no road noise. The beds were so comfortable and the room so welcoming. Thanks

This was a very good option for a one night stay that was 30 minutes away from States College but much less expensive than hotels in that area for the weekend. The hotel was minimally staffed, but all staff was very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, our room was very clean and it was very quiet. Great value for the type of hotel.

The staff was courteous and helpful, the bathroom and common areas were filthy. The lamps were not working in the room, the outdoor dog area has hard to access due to the snow piling up...

Thank you for your review, please contact hotel and advise what room you were in that lamps did not work as I have inspected all 54 rooms and found no issues?We have not had any snow in the pet are for weeks, however when we do get a foot of snow we do not shovel the 7 acres of grass, only the parking and walkways.Our apologies for this inconvenience.

The heater in my first room was very loud. By the 2nd day it was so loud I couldn't hear the TV. I called the desk and asked for another room, and was told that the heaters were loud in all of the rooms. I went to the desk and had the person there come to the room and listen, and then I got another room.

Beds were very comfortable. Room was very quiet. I didn’t like that there is still no housekeeping since COVID. Continental breakfast was okay except for one day where the hot option was a hard boiled egg.

We normally stay at another hotel brand but decided to stay here based on reviews. Now we know better. We had the worst night. People were running up and down the hall, slamming doors at 2 am. Next door sounded like they were fighting. I tried calling the front desk but no one answered. The next morning when I said something to the girl at check out, she just said that they had a group of girls staying for a cheer or dance competition and when I said it definitely wasn't young girls she said they had some Fraternity/College guys staying. She also said they caused a "ruckus" at breakfast. When I said I attempted to call but the front desk never answered, she didn't say anything. Not even an apology. We won't be staying here again.

Room not clean, but staff were kind
Stayed here while in the area for a Penn State game. May have just gotten unlucky, but room was not cleaned very thoroughly. Found a used q tip and nail clippers on the bed, and a sticky substance on the night stand. There was also a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The front desk manager did nicely offer to switch our room, but it was late and I didn’t feel like moving. Probably would not stay here again even though the price was very reasonable.
