Really good appartment, had a great week. Facilities etc all very good and all we needed. Only two downsides: confusing check in (most of the hotels in the village are owned by the same company and we weren’t told which we were in!) and having to pay €98 to park, which wasn’t made clear beforehand. Would recommend though.

Stayed in Hameau du Glacier. Very convenient, ski-in/out, nice apartment with all necessities, sauna, outdoor pool and jacuzzi are small and not too warm for January. Connected by indoor passage to a larger indoor/outdoor pool at Prince de Cimes. No complaints.

Apartment was rather basic and could do with an update. However, it was comfortable and very well located for skiing.

The good bits: Great ski in ski out location. This is my second visit to ARC 1950 is as many years and the 'resort' and I have spent about 25 weeks all together in the Three Vally area. ARC 1950 is perfectly located and feels premium, but is incredibly expensive. (a good price index is a burger and chips will cost about 23 Euro) There is a small supermarket but it's roughly three times what you'd pay in UK. We booked a 1 bed apartment for 2,500 pounds, 1 week, room only. (no flights, or breakfast). If you want the room cleaned they'll charge you an extra 13 Euro's per head, per clean. The quality of the food on the resort in general is average at best and ski school places are limited for kids. Don't use this resort if you're a beginner as there are VERY few green runs and they are VERY crowded. If you're driving like we did, there is underground parking directly under the hotels, so access to your apartment is easy and does not involve a trek across ice and snow with all your luggage. Parking is about 100 Euro for the week.

First family trip to Les Arc 1950
Lovely apartment in the heart of the 1950 village. Genuine ski in / ski out, with convenient ski / boot locker right at the front entrance. Amenities in the hotel complex excellent including spa, sauna, fitness room, etc ... although signage could be improved. Apartment itself very comfortable and spacious, and kitchen good for proper cooking.

Great stay!
The village is amazing (it was our 8th time there!), and the apartment was in a convenient location. All was fine with the apartment - bedrooms are always a bit "tight", but you're not in there for long so it's not a problem!

Best village of all the Arcs
This is our second visit to Arc 1950, and also our second stay in Prince de Chime of Pierre & Vacances Premium. Though fairly expensive, this is a fantastic village with direct piste access, and ski in and ski out from the door of the residence. The apartment is very well equipped with everything that you might need to make your stay very comfortable. apart from the normal kitchen appliances, the super silent dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine was great contributions to our stay. At reception, the hotel offers the opportunity to borrow a Raclette machine and a Fondue machine for the evenings. Considering the exorbitant prices charged at the restaurants for Fondue per person, we used the hotel Fondue machine on two occasions and purchased the cheese at the La 8 Huit in the village. The little bakery in the village serve the best fresh croissants every morning. so its real easy to purchase freshly baked bread every morning for the day to come. The whole Arc area has a free shuttle service that runs between all the Arcs, and a funicular down to Bourg st Maurice (free with a ski pass). We parked our car in the Arc 1950 basement parking and though fairly expensive, it is VERY convenient to simply take lift from your hotel directly to your car. In short a fantastic village, with comfort and relaxation the main factor to enjoy! We will be back in future!

Serves its purpose
Perfect hotel for ski-in, ski-out access. Many restaurants within walking distance. Hotel itself is a bit dated, and in need of a more modern makeover. The shower water temperature was constantly freezing.

A great place to stay
5 of us stayed in a 2 bed apartment. Nice layout with the living area in the middle of the two bedrooms. More spacious than we had imagined. The sofa bed was comfortable, the kitchen was bijou (!) but had everything we needed including plenty of plates and glasses. We weren’t able to book in to any of the restaurants on NYE so hired raclette and fondue machines and managed to fit 12 into the apartment for dinner, before joining the party and fireworks in the square.. We also had lunch on the lovely sunny balcony one day. Separate WC was good, also lovely to have a bath. Ski in/out was good. As noted elsewhere, locker arrangements tended to leave boots feeling a bit damp in the morning, so we brought ours up to the apartment. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub, and après ski crepes at the vache rouge opposite. Only suggestions would be some new, less lumpy pillows and a decorative revamp sometime in the future (less brown?!). But we enjoyed our stay and would certainly return!

Return to 1950
We returned to 1950 after three years away to be once again very impressed with the complete package. This time we stayed in Auberge Jerome which was really comfortable and part of the Raddison blue resort. in the past we’ve stayed in Pierre Vacances which wasn’t as special but still good...not sure how you can ensure this as it seems to be pot luck!!

Skiing at Les Arc 1950
Great resort. Apartment spacious with large bathroom that included a bath - great after skiing. There was an indoor and outdoor in the connecting hotel (Prince de Chimes). Enjoyed using the outdoor jacuzzi and steam room and sauna (inside). Everything very close: ski hire and ski passes. Could ski in and out of the building. Overall a very enjoyable holiday spent here. Would return. Con: expensive to eat out and also the supermarket. We drove from uk and boufht lots of food at the Super U supermarket in Borg st. Maurice.

Nice hotel but quite a trek to the ski lockers
We stayed at L'Auberge Jerome Feb 2018. A nice well equipped room enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, the room was inconvenient for our ski classes which were at Arc 2000. You have to firstly pick up your skiis from the lockers which were situated at the bottom of the building in a steamy congested room. Then you have to lug your kit and family up a small flight of steps which were at times hazardous. It took at least 45 mins to get from here to Arc 2000 via gondola lift. I wouldn't recommend this block if you're with a young family or inexperienced skiers. Ok if you are competent as you can ski out down the slopes to the lifts at Arc 1950 However the staff were very courteous and helpful

Nice location, but hotel doesn't match description
The best thing about this hotel is location. Nicest village in Les Arcs, ski-in, ski-out. Not very crowded at the lifts because the village is not that big. Staff is very nice. The hotel is made of several buildings. Depending on where your room is you might have access to hotel amenities such as indoor swimming pool, or might not. When we booked a room in this hotel we specifically were looking for indoor pool. We got a room in the building that had no access to indoor pool. The pool was in the other building and we were not allowed to go there. We had 3 bedroom apartment booked for 7 people (it had maximum occupancy of 8). When we arrived it was set up for 6 people: 6 towels, 6 bathrobes, etc. But the staff quickly brought everything we needed. Also, we had two bathrooms, but only one hairdryer, which was not enough for 7 people. We got another one from the front desk, but they charged us a deposit for it (which they returned when we returned the hairdryer, but it just felt strange that the 5 star hotel would not have hairdryer in the bathroom). Rooms were small, but efficient. Living room seemed to be the same size independent of the apartment size, i.e. very small. The view was beautiful, and probably compensated for other deficiencies. The village has supermarket and a really nice bakery, all within 3 minute walk. Very convenient. Ski rental place was also very friendly and efficient. Overall very good experience, except for not getting indoor swimming pool.

Great location
Perfect for a family ski trip. Great self catering accommodation with true ski access to the door. Main problems - smelly drainage (but this is typical in French ski resorts) and awful wifi reliability.
