fantastic stay
fantastic stay excellent friendly personal service have stayed in many other 4 and 5 star hotels in Val D'Isere and this was the best by far and will definitely return

Mixed feelings
I have stayed here before and loved it. Service continues to be very friendly, breakfast is good, location is great. I had a room with two single beds stuck together with no comforter on top which was not ideal, the shower tended to flood the whole bathroom floor and I didn't have proper hot water my last 2 days so a slightly less stellar experience this time around.

Germain is my man, the best service ever!!! Seriously, anything even remotely possible for him to help, he would be straight on it and taking notes! I am used to Pashmina at Val thorens, this is a very similar type of service and quality, for Val Disere it is your best choice. Make sure to ask for a balcony when you reserve the room

Central location with good sized rooms and large welcoming bar seating area. Excellent spa and ski hire facilities and good restaurant. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Great few days in the Alps. The hotel was wonderful in every way in particular the spa at the end of a long day of skiing. All the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much without being in your face and overbearing.

Highly Recommend
Excellent stay with really lovely staff. Only downside would be is that as it’s on the Main Street, it is very noisy at night (obviously not within the control of the hotel)

The property is in a great location. All the staff were exceptional. Having a ski locker and hire shop in the hotel is a great advantage and makes it so easy to hire and return skis etc. All the staff were so friendly. Could not fault it.

Lovely hotel and nice staff.... we had a family room for three which was quite a good size and nice decor.. only comment throughout the hotel is a little bit too dark with the black wooden walls.

Rooms were noisy, sliding doors beneath could be heard every time they opened/closed plus noise from corridors. No ski concierge. Hotel was nice, staff were friendly and well positioned but a bit pricey for the level of service. More of a 4 star hotel with additional facilities eg spa/pool

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Val d'Isère
Great boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. Nice bathrooms with full immersion bathtub and separate shower. Spa and indoor pool very pleasant to go relax after day of skiing. Proshop staff very nice and helpful.

Great Hotel close to the slopes
Would definitely stay there again! Very nice big room and bathroom, the tv in there was a nice touch. This the room service could be improved on, not much on offer. No mini bar either but they have a fridge with free water!

Avenue Lodge is perfectly located right in the middle of Val d'Isere. Traditional appearance but modern, trendy rooms with excellent facilities including spa. Restaurant quality was superb and service friendly and efficient. On-site ski shop was an added bonus. Second stay here and would definitely choose again.

Superb hotel. Worth 5 stars.
Fantastic hotel. Great location. Great personalised service and lovely spa area. Breakfast was also lovely and staff were helpful and friendly. We are incredibly fussy and this hotel did not disappoint at all. Would recommend it for couples and families.

Stayed here for 5 nights mid-February. Avenue Lodge proved an excellent choice, particularly because of great location, tasteful modernisation of a traditional building, in-house ski shop, spa and pool

Ski holiday at Avenue Lodge
We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. All the stuff was so helpful at the restaurant, at the ski storage room and at the reception. Almost everything is perfect only we found the rooms a little dark and as the rooms are small they can use spot lights on the wall instead of on the floor as they took space as well.

Not for couples! And, not relaxing!
The room was really nice and clean and the staff were friendly. However, the place was over-run by rowdy, ill-behaved children. This is not what I expected in a Spa Hotel. The one occasion we went to the Spa, children were jumping in the pool, screaming and splashing around - it was hardly the relaxing experience that they advertise. Also, children were running around the corridors outside our room screaming and shouting. This hotel needs to seriously re-think its branding and decide whether it is a family hotel with a 'play-pool' or a upper-market hotel with a relaxing Spa area! The staff said they couldn't do anything about this as they were guests of the hotel. We were also guests of the hotel but they didn't seem to care about our comfort!

Très bel hôtel Un peu de bruit pour les chambres donnant sur la rue principale. Manque de ventilation dans les chambres ce qui engendre de la buée sur les fenêtres et ne donne plus de visibilité pour la vue de la chambre. Très bon petit déjeuner

Très bel hôtel très confortable. Petit bémol sur le chauffage dans les chambres qui est un peu trop élevé et qu’on ne peut pas régler et aussi les femmes de chambre qui viennent à 21h alors que la petite dort et se permettre de rentrer dans la chambre alors que l’on ne répond pas.
