Excellent hotel, food, rooms, staff. Just a gondola ride to the snow.

Nice hotel, close to town and all amenities.

Hotel booked for a long weekend ski trip was good but not great. Ski room and sauna only had external access and there was no jacuzzi or pool on site (you have access to one at another hotel). Our complimentary water was only replenished when asked for and the restaurant although very nice was too pricey to eat at every night. Staff were friendly and no major issues but I would think twice before booking again.

We warmly thank you for taking the time to share your views on TripAdvisor. Your feedback is precious to us. We are happy that you appreciated the friendliness from our staff. We regret that you felt our dining room menu too pricey. Our Chef works with local fresh products. Dinner food quality is high and presentation impeccable. We present you our most sincere apologies for not having replenished water in your room automatically. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you quality service for your next visit. Yours Sincerely

Top marks - would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Golf Hotel. The staff were great and it's nicely located for the Olympic gondola and the local restaurants etc. The breakfast was just what was needed before a day of skiing and the rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. After our stay the hotel staff were even kind enough to post something that one of us had left in the room back to their address in the UK.

A warm welcome after a long drive!

Pros: The greeting on arrival and the jacuzzi.
Location: Quietly located, the hotel caters in summer to those taking 'la cure' in the hot springs.
We were greeted warmly on arrival and upgraded to a room with a balcony and a fabulous view towards the snow covered mountain. The room was comfortable and quiet. As this is a spa town there was a healthy option to all the menus, but we stayed with the other and enjoyed an appetising meal. We took advantage of the hot tub, part of the wellness suite, which was free to enter.

Beautiful Hotel With Fantastic Views of the Alps

Posted 22-Feb-2016 on Hotels
Overall the Golf Hotel was fantastic, especially for skiing in Meribel and the 3 valleys. A short walk to the gondola which will have you in Meribel in 20 minutes and runs until 5:30pm. The hotel itself was a great base albeit in a quiet village but still some good bars and places to eat. La Petit Auberge was our favourite nightspot! Breakfast in the hotel was basic enough but still provided a mix of bacon and eggs for a hot breakfast and the usual continental cold breakfast. Staff were very helpful and fantastic and I would definitely return to stay here.

What you would expect from an old world spa resort

Added on two days for skiing after a business trip. Great hotel with an old world feel but modern amenities. Easy walk even in ski boots to the Olympic 1 lift.
