Use our modern boat dock that juts into the lake. You can leave your boat at our dock during your stay with plenty of parking for your trailer. There is a boat launch just up the road. You can walk out the front door a few steps, hop in your boat, and spend all day on the lake! The place was a perfect relaxing getaway right on the lake. It was a great location for me because it was close to other family members, and many of them were able to stop by for a visit. The little store and the restaurant on the water were in walking distance and had pretty much anything I needed, not that town is that far away. We ended up cooking most of our meals at the cabin because we didnt want to leave. However; if you have a chance to go to 808 bowlz in Alpena - do it! Delicious food!! The sunrises were spectacular! Neighboring houses are close but we never saw anyone else. It felt like we had the cove all to ourselves. We were there on weekdays in August. The cottage was just like it was pictured and described in the listing. Although the home is older, it is well maintained and very clean. The exterior was recently painted and it looked like the windows were quite new as well as having an updated bathroom. There were plenty of kitchen gadgets, bowls, etc. The beds were comfortable. My son's and I fished for five days and were able to have fish dinners three nights. Ryan is looking at providing a filleting table. He is very easy to deal with, I was able to contact him whenever I had a question or need. He is very concerned that everyone has an enjoyable time. I would recommend this cottage to everyone. Unfortunately some of the items in the cottage had been removed by previous renters. Some people seem to think because they pay rent, then they are entitled to take anything they want. ##### Melvin B. B.
