overpriced
Had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke in the lobby just to get to our room. Rented the apartment and it only had one bathroom for 6 people. Internet didn't work, light bulbs were out in the room, kitchen was dirty, room had a funky smell.

A basic hotel in a good location to Munich.
It is a pleasant but basic hotel about 25/30 minutes drive into Munich. There is a good breakfast on offer but no other food. There are a couple of places in nearby village. We enjoyed a couple of beers and sat outside under gazebo one evening...bring supplies as no tea/coffee making facilities.

Great for families
We had 4 adults and two teenagers. This was perfect for us with 3 beds. Downside was only 1 bathroom but we managed just fine. Very clean and the staff is wonderful.

Great Stop
This hotel is in a good location to access Munich and the surrounding area, since it's about a 30 minute drive by car. It is a little tricky to get to since it is in a residential neighborhood, but there are signs up leading you there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent value with free breakfast, parking and internet provided. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to visit Munich or are just passing through.

Very friendly funny and nice manager with personal service. Clean big nice rooms, simple breakfast. Only downside is smoking smell at entrance/reception is off putting and not near train or bus stop. Lovley place though

Nice hotel in a quiet beautiful area
I stayed for 4 days & i really enjoyed the place and my husband & kids too . Also the staff were very friendly & helpful & cared much about the guests comfort & satisfaction , the hotel owner is a very down to earth and nice person & very cooperative not materialistic ..، Rooms are cleaned daily and the internet wifi is good ..

Hotel of the Rooster
Gockl means Rooster and I that thought that was neat enough. Was looking for a convenient place to stay and this really fit the bill. Its in Bavaria which was a plus and near Munich but not in the center of the city. Had a family of five in tow so we got the apartment. It was very clean and extremely roomy, perfect for us. No AC, but no problem as it was cool enough without it. Breakfast was filling and traditional. Everyone loved it. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly on a personal level, the kind of people you get with a personally ran hotel. Great place, and yes I would stay again.

The guest house was very satisfactory. It was a little hard to find as it was in a neighborhood off the main road. Finding the town was difficult for us as the necessary exit from the autobahn was closed. After being lost for about 45 minutes, and seeking local help, we were able to arrive in the town. By this time it was dark and difficult to drive through a dark neighborhood to find the guest house. Our suggestion is to arrive before dark!! Otherwise, the accommodaton was fine.

Wonderful
Cute and quaint neighborhood, convenient to the airport. We had a VERY early flight out of Munich- the location was perfect for us, very relaxing, wonderful staff who made sure we had breakfast set out to grab and go to take to the airport.

Äußerst herzlicher und familiärer Empfang. Man fühlte sich direkt Willkommen. Das gebuchte Doppel-Zimmer wirkte modern und ansprechend gestaltet. Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und es stand auch stets jemand für Fragen oder Wünsche zur Verfügung, der dies auch von sich aus anbot.

Ett stopp längs Autobahn
Ett stopp på vägen längs Autobahn. trevligt hotell lugnt läge, Varma dagar och varmt på rummet, AC hade inte varit fel. Bra och generös frukost.

Nice place to rest on

Familienfreundliches Hotel mit gutem Service
Wir suchten nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit der ganzen Familie einschließlich Frühstück, da ein Teil von uns am darauffolgenden Tag einen Flug ab Flughafen München hatte. Das Zimmer war sauber, alles was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Der freundliche Gastgeber bereitete am Morgen unserer Abreise extra für uns für 6:30h Frühstück vor, da wir um 7:30h am Flughafen sein mußten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Günstig für Familien Kurzurlaub in München
Nördlich von München an der A9 gelegen, konnten wir aus Niedersachsen bequem schon am Mittag einchecken und danach schon in die Stadt fahren, die ca. 35 Min Autofahrt vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Am nächsten Tag haben wir den P+R an der Allianz Arena genutzt und sind mit dem Familien Tages Ticket in die City. Für die drei Nächte unseres Aufenthalts war das Hotel genau richtig, da wir zu fünft bei fast allen Hotels zwei Zimmer benötigt hätten, ist hier das großzügige Appartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern, großer Küche, Bad, Flur, eine perfekte Lösung! Personal sehr nett, Frühstück war o.k., preislich deutlich günstiger als vergleichbare Hotels näher bei, bzw. in München.
