Nice enough room, great breakfast, and accommodating staff. Only issue was their one treadmill was broken, but they helped by allowing access to Tamarac fitness center. Would stay again, though hope to get a slope view next time.

The location is perfect and you just walk out the walkway to the Sunrise Chair. The room was a bit tired, but clean and lots of room and an outdoor ski locker.

You can get right on the ski lift at holiday valley from this property, there’s a pool, sauna and hot tub on site and a cute lobby area and it’s only 1 mile from the shops and restaurants in town. Will definitely stay here again when I come back.

We always love staying here. It’s family friendly and welcoming- while it could use a little sprucing up in places it’s generally clean and the staff are fantastic.

Staying Slope side was a wonderful treat. Put on our gear and onto the lift steps away. Room was clea, lots of room. Hot tub and pool after skiing was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back again. Check in and all staff were super friendly

Nice place. Good view from balcony. Good complimentary breakfast. Lots to do in ellicotteville. My bed was not super comfortable though.

I liked that breakfast was included. I liked the large room. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and the view was beautiful. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I didn’t like that John Harvard’s was remodeling so they put tables in a another room. Not the same experience.

Amazing hotel with beautiful views. Breakfast could be better. Very friendly staff. After booking from Hotels.com, I called the hotel to confirm my bookings, and they didn't have it for three days. I had to call four times and finally they found my booking.

Old but Clean
The hotel is an older hotel that was clean but dated. The bathroom fan was very loud. The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast.

Happy Valley is quite the nicest place to stay in Ellicottville if you're only there for a night or two. It's exceptionally quiet, the rooms are spotless, the beds comfortable, and the setting beautiful. Your other choices are either a pretty good chain hotel that's over-priced or a drab dump with surly staff that is ostentatiously misnamed after an Alpine flower. I've stayed at Happy Valley half a dozen times over twenty years and have never been disappointed.

Very nice location with great views. A bit dated but in very good shape. Just wish they had wifi in rooms. Had to go to lobby to use it. Only 25 minutes to Seneca casino.

We had a great family vacation at the holiday Inn Valley. The room was clean and we had no issues whatsoever. Cleanliness is very important to us because we have two young kids.
