"It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! My wife has a dairy intolerance and he made sure at night everything was dairy free and he remembered the next morning. All the staff who waited on us we very pleasant, smiling and friendly. You have a great team at this hotel. Please thank everyone for us. "

"Nice comfortable room with good WiFi connection. Food was excellent and served quickly. The steak pie was the best I have ever had anywhere. Top marks yo the kitchen. This is my second visit here and my previous visit was just as good. Plenty of parking and very friendly staff. Hot breakfast cooked to order. The best I've ever had. Recommended. "

"Excellent place to stay. More than fully equipped. It was short of nothing, well heated, great shower, plenty of towels and toiletries, kitchen had everything required. Many nice touches were a wonderful bonus: welcome basket including all sorts of goodies and wine, as well as fresh bread and milk. Perfect ! "

"Larger rooms and property than expected with a huge kitchen , central heating and every thing you would need to self cater. Quiet location with gated parking. Greatest views of Ireby and Uldale fells, and 100mtrs walk to the breattaking views of the Solway. Do not have any hesitation of this great propery but be aware you are close to all tourist locations but is a great getaway for walks, etc. One slifht issue, not reLly worth mentioning is that the grass needed cutting and the cumbrian weather. "Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed."
