Best place to stay in Naxos!
I would recommend Saint Vlassis to anyone who visits Naxos! The location was nice and an easy walk to downtown. The rooms were kept so clean! The staff was so friendly and accommodating!

Superb Stay
Incredible stay! Costa was an amazing host, making sure anything we needed (restaurant suggestions, laundry requests etc.) were immediately attended to. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is close to the beaches, and within walking distance of the port etc.

An absolutely delightful stay made ever so fantastic by the amazing owner Costa and his team. A delightful room, the penthouse, with great bedding and plenty of space. The private spa on the terrace was superb. Breakfast each day was wonderful with an amazing selection. Position in town was good. Easy walk to wherever. Highly recommended hotel.

This is a well run little hotel with great staff. If you are a fit walker or have a car, it is great. But if poolside lounging is what you’re looking for, look elsewhere. We totally enjoy d our five day stay complete with breakfast.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Saint Vlassis in Naxos. Everything from the moment we arrived until the second we left was excellent. Konstantinos was a superb host and helped us with anything we needed throughout our stay. The rooftop penthouse was excellent with a large deck and a great jacuzzi. Everything at the hotel is new and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The controls in the room were operated by a tablet which was very cool and the WiFi was fast.The breakfast buffet was a great spread with many hot and cold options, the best breakfast spread we had on our whole trip! Can't say enough good about the Saint Vlassis and the staff!

I can't say enough about the hospitality and service at Saint Vlassis. These guys know how to do a boutique hotel. Friendly and warm. Sleek and sophisticated. Outstanding fit and finish. But the breakfast. Are you kidding me? Local olives. Grass fed bacon and local feta/cheeses. Scrambled eggs. Assorted pastries and baking. Local home-made preserves from quincy and grapes. Absolutely brilliant. Five stars from us. A highlight on our trip to the cradle of Western Civilization. Canada.

Beautiful small hotel away from the crowds.
Enjoyed all the comfort of their executive double room which gives particular attention to all your needs with many little touches to make your stay a memorable one. Clean, fresh and impeccable standards. I would recommend watching the stars from your jacuzzi! Finally a special mention to all the staff who not only make you feel welcome but go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. I would return in a heartbeat. A fabulous place :)

I let my husband book this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip so I was a little worried but as soon as we got there I felt so comfortable and relaxed, the staff are so down to earth, friendly and funny. The best service we’re had our entire 5 week trip through Greece and Croatia btw. Our room was on the top floor penthouse and it was beautiful. We drank wine on our balcony and watched the sun set most nights before heading out, we rented a scooter so we could beach hop but it is close enough to walk to the main areas for sunset drinks, dinner, shopping etc. It was very hot so I’m glad we had the scooter.

Beware - it is out of town
The hotel is a new 4 storey building. The staff were exceptional, the room excellent, the breakfast sensational, BUT, it is about 2km from the port and 1km from the beach. Neither is an ideal walk as it involves road walking (not even footpaths). If you stay here, expect to hire a car or quadbike. Taxis have discretionary pricing of E5 or E10 depending on how they feel. It quickly adds up. There are other nearby hotels, some with a pool and facilities. This hotel is in the middle of a vegetable garden. See the photo and look on Google Maps before booking.

Dear Mr. Mtcf, Thank you for the time you took reviewing us publicly. We are happy to hear that we met your standard and fulfill your expectations concerning your stay at our hotel. At the other hand I feel obliged to reply to your misleading headline! We have never advertised our hotel being on the beach or next to the port. The distance is equally 600m and 1800m walking on the road since the island hardly has a pavement for pedestrians. Nevertheless all drivers are fully aware of that and at no time one feels threatened by them while walking. The cost for a taxi is fixed. 5e,10e,15e since it’s a short drive everywhere and paying by meter doesn’t apply. Your comment concerning the temper of the drivers is bad since only the pick-up point matters. Any traveler should know that renting a vehicle is needed since the island is the largest on Cyclades. Otherwise you miss the true essence of Naxos if you only spend your time on the beach and shops Moreover, its wise indeed to look before you book a hotel if its located on the same the area you wish to be too.

Almost a rural setting close enough to the action. When we were arriving in the taxi we had a mild heart attack thinking we were in the middle of nowhere- but that’s its appeal. It was a 10 minute walk if that to the port & town area & a 2 minute walk to get to the bus stop for the best beaches. We had a lovely room, bed comfy, the whole place was spotless & hosts warm & so accommodating, breaky was good.

Amazing stay!
Saint Vlassis is a very modern and clean hotel. The staff were amazing, very helpful and extremely welcoming! Lovely variety of food each morning for breakfast. The hotel was about 15 minute walk to the harbour and 10 minutes to the beach which was perfect. The bus stop was just at the end of the road so it made it easy to get around too.

Very warm welcoming from the owner and his staff, always taking care of customers wellness and make them feel like their are familly. Good tips to visit this beautiful island. Very peacefull area 10 minutes walking distance from city centre, 5 more minutes to reach the port. Very easy to rent scooters / ATV. Thanks again for the stay :)

Excellent Stay On Naxos
Our stay at the St. Vlassis Hotel was absolutely perfect. You can tell the the owner, Konstantinos, takes great pride in his hotel and providing their customers with the best experience possible. All of his staff is equally committed to providing top notch service. We highly recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed. The rooms are modern and clean, breakfast every morning was fresh and Kostantinos himself would bring us our coffee as soon as he saw us come down. He even remembered that we liked the raw brown sugar as opposed to white with our coffee.

Lovely clean apartment, we were upgraded on arrival and were given a very friendly welcome. The staff were very helpful and really accommodating! The beach is only a short walk and the town about 15min walk. Would definitely recommend staying here! We would love to visit again!

Very good price for top-notch accommodations
The staff, from the manager Costas to those who cleaned and served, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We chose the suite for a little extra room for not so much more money. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The bed was very comfortable, and there is even a selection of pillow types. There is a larger variety of toiletries than one typically finds in hotels that are much more expensive. The breakfast buffet is good, with a surprising variety of items from which to choose. If there is any downside, some might consider it to be location: it is located on the edge of town, so it is a 10-minute walk into the center. However, we considered that a plus, as it was quiet. We stayed a couple of nights here, and I think it was a terrific deal.

A most pleasant, excellently run small island Hoy
The St Vlassis is a gem. A mere 15+ million notes walk from the touristic bustle of Naxos town and port, we enjoyed the relative peace and the warm hospitality of Konstantinos and his staff. Five days was too short!

The staff were friendly and helpful. This made our stay very pleasant. The only hiccup we had was due to Hotels.com wrongly advertising a jetted tub and balcony with sea view which wasn't the case. When we let the staff know, they contacted Hotels.com immediately and copied us on the email.

I would not hesitate in recommending this lovely hotel! Kostas is a fabulous host and truly a most wonderful man who is there to help you have a fantastic relaxing holiday in every way! We loved staying in the penthouse apartment which had a large rooftop terrace with bean bag loungers and excellent views. The designer toiletries, the slippers and choice of pillow was a lovely extra touch. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the breakfast was excellent which varied each day. Kostas should be very proud of what he has achieved at this hotel - best place we have stayed in. You have it just right Kostas - thank you to you and your staff for making our stay so comfortable! Such a delight to meet you - we will return but for longer next time!

We had a wonderful stay in Naxos at the St. Vlassis. The hotel is located outside of the main area and overlooks a farm. The hotel host Konstantinos is a very very happy and helpful man - you meet few people in life who have such a warm, happy energy for life. The staff have a shuttle and picked us up from the ferry port. Service at the hotel is very, very, good. The rooms are modern with super funky cool bathrooms. The hotel was a short walk to a wonderful beach... If you are looking for a place to stay in Naxos this is a good one. Note the hotel does not have an elevator so you may walk up 2 flights of stairs (quite easy by FYI).

We stayed at Saint Vlassis for 3 nights in September. It is a really lovely little hotel with very friendly staff. We had a room with a hottub on the balcony, facing farmers fields which was lovely. There is a large variety of food for breakfast and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Would definitely recommend.

We will definitely stay here again, ALL the hotel staff were genuinely nice and cared about your stay at their hotel and on this island and nothing was too much trouble. from giving us towels fro the beach, choice of snorkel / bat & ball etc for the beach and taking us back to the port to catch ferry and I didn't touch our luggage from when we turned the corner until we were at the ferry. Once we settled into our room we were asked to call with them for them to give us the low down on the hotel and the locality - lovely lad - faultless. Could not get used to being called by Mrs -------- lol

Had a great experience at this hotel, from the great room, to the short walk into town. The staff were amazing, always so kind and helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. The first evening there was an incident that caused our room to not be ready, so they were even kind enough to arrange accommodations and transportation at the Grotta Hotel, another amazing hotel.

We stayed at the Saint Vlassos for four nights in the "Penthouse suite", a fairly small room with a huge bathroom and massive roof terrace. Constantinos, the manager, was as friendly and professional as anyone we've ever met during our many years touring the Cyclades. It's a bit of a walk into town but when you stay at a hotel of this quality it really doesn't matter. We'll be back!

This place was amazing. The owner is very proud of his hotel and it reflects in service and condition. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Greece. Beds comfortable. About a 15 minute walk into town. ++++great value. This hotel performs at a much higher level than 3.5 stars!
