Unlike other renowned hotel chains that have made COVID an opportunity to undercut services this one does not skim on room service. Rooms are small but facilities are very reasonable considering the price range. Location is right in the middle of Alicante so everything that maybe needed is at walking distance. Staff is helpful and affable.

Centrally located hotel which was fine for a one night stay. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a good shower.

Great night in Alicante!
The hotel was lovely, room was a great size, very clean and even had a balcony which I wasn’t expecting. It was close to everything and the staff were very friendly.

Really enjoyed our recent stay here, staff were lovely, location was great - easy to find and close to everything needed. Great to have a balcony and air conditioning in the spanish weather. Could be updated a little, but the location makes up for this. In general, great hotel and would definitely return. Only suggestion is maybe adding tea and coffee to the bedrooms and a mini fridge.

The property has a great location, was in city center, walkable to beach and promenade and walkable distance to train and bus station. The hotel is pretty old and in need of upgrades. Room was very small and no amenities, no fridge, but tolerable for a basic 2 night stay for bed and shower if that’s all your wanting. Although bed very uncomfortable. Tolerable for the price. No more then a very basic stay. Reason for low rating was more so because front receptionist guy was not very receptive, friendly, or courteous. Didn’t have good customer service skills..

San Remo Hotel in Alicante Spain. If they give u room 504 on the fifth floor refused it. That room is soo tiny with the two smallest windows I’ve ever seen for a room that is. For August heat they air conditioning is very poor u can barely feel it. It is a very old hotel the cleaners are doing their best, but the hotel needs to be upgraded badly. The female receptionist is very rude, because of the poorness of the air conditioning I thought that my one isn’t working so I inform the situation to Expedia ( Expedia was on the phone with her and I was sitting in the reception area) and she basically called me a liar saying that the so call air conditioner is working perfectly and that I want my money and that’s my only reason. and she went to add in saying it’s a good hotel because they are always full during summer ( the location is good ) she also said that’s how all the air conditioning in the San Remo hotel are. I wanted to change/upgrade my room because the room their gave us was too small for three people. One minute she said they have a room available and the next she said it was full. I am claustrophobic my skin was very itchy because of the tightness of that room. I needed to get out of that room badly in the end I booked ourselves into another hotel with a larger room and windows.

Location of the hotel was perfect- central, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping area. Hotel is very accessible via public transportation. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Very basic hotel. Pictures are better than what you get. Cleaning staff were very kind. Shane they don’t offer anything else other than just a standard room.

Central but not too noisy
The room was quite nice with a double and single bed. Lots of windows and a balcony. The night reception guy was very friendly. By myself I could only afford this because I had a free night which reduced it a lot but it would have been a good deal for three people. Cheap breakfast places nearby. Only there one night. Don't think there was a fridge, which I'd have wanted for longer stay.

I only stayed there overnight arriving from Valencia about 10.00pm as I was flying out of Alicante the following morning. I left at 7.30am. All I did was sleep in the room which was clean and comfortable so I don’t k ow anything else about the hotel. The staff I met were friendly and helpful so I don’t have much more to say. A couple of blocks away from the main road and airport bus stop so it suited me fine.

Really great for the price. Perfect location
All went well. The place isn't the best in the world but that's why the price is cheap so I had managed my expectations accordingly. I don't really get these bitter people who book the cheapest available place and then come up with bad negative reviews full of unfairness cowardly written after check out because they expected Waldorf Astoria or Ritz service. That's really lame. The location of this hotel is great, it's clean and the condition of the hotel isn't the best out there but it's completely OK for a short stay and if you have a problem with that book a 5 star hotel and pay accordingly.

Nice stay
Thd hotel was in the central. It’s in between the train station and the beach. Ten minute from each way. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Overall it was s nice stay . The air condition in my room was noisy. Other than that no complaint.

Great value for money
Exactly as expected for the price. Good aircon and Wi-Fi, good central location. Room was basic but clean and had everything we needed for a stop over. Bed was a little hard but overall really good.

Nice hotel in middle of the town
My stayed in this hotel was a good experience ,they clean my room every morning and give a ticket for breakfast that cost me £3.0 which include half toast with tomatoe tea and milk and orange juice perfect for starting the motuning . Close to everything..tram via buses shops restaurants and the beach . For the price is a good hotel with internet and tv .

It was extremely easy to get to this location from the main station 15 minutes walk. Additionally, it was in walking distance of everything. My room was quite large considering EU standards, everything was spotless. A little traffic noise but not overwhelmimg. Options for eating is limitless....I can imagine during warmer temperature the city would be more crowded. I enjoyed my stay!

Great location!
Enjoyed a four day stay at Hotel San Remo. Very responsible price, staff were friendly. Room was clean and functional. Nice balcony looking over the streets. A little noisy at night but that’s to be expected due to location. Walking distance to everything due to location.

Small room which gets very warm but air conditioning adequate, and free WiFi otherwise very basic. Personal safe in room disabled. TV had Spanish channels only. Noise from road very loud from early in morning, good earplugs essential. Reception staff friendly. Alicante very nice.
