It was very loud in my room. I could hear my neighbours staying in other rooms, from each side and from top. I had difficulty sleeping, I could even hear loud neighbours through ear plugs. The room itself was not perfect. There were scratches and one could see that this place needs good maintenance and proper handling. Food choices were limited. What also surprised me was that the hotel tried to charge me money for water though the waiter said it was free of charge! So be careful when you take water during lunch/dinner. Only 1 elevator on the hotel. Sometimes there were longer wait times. Overall is was disappointing experience.

Near the beach, in the city centre. Hotel and the room are clean. Single room is very small especially the bathroom. Breakfast same every day. No vegetarian food in the dinner.

The beach is around the corner, you can see it from the balcony. Very nice and helpful staff. Homemade healthy food at the full board restaurant we had. Nonexpencive next to beautiful Mediterranean Balcony and Old town, shopping and bars.

Motorcycle tour of Spain
Motorcycle tour of Spain. Good area to drop off luggage before off street parking at Parkimeter. Nice place, just behind front street, quiet central location. Been before, would return. Excellent staff too.

Friendly staff
Very friendly staff, basic room but very clean. Room needs a hairdryer. Great breakfast, only downside is room walls are very thin it was extremely noisy from about 7.30 in a morning. I was on the first floor at 7.30 in the morning reception got very noisy and i could hear it very clearly, i asked to move rooms and i got put on floor 5, unfortunately i moved next to the lift which i could hear going up and down constantly.

Ideal location
Positioned one block away from the beach and right in the heart of the old town this hotels location is ideal. very friendly and helpful staff and very clean rooms. I would stay here again.

Charming or dated - you decide
The hotel is centrally situated for all of the amenities that the Old Town in Benidorm has to offer - it is in a great location only around 60 metres to the beach and the same in the opposite direction to the buzz of the Old Town's main attractions. The hotel provided a really good standard breakfast with fresh fruit, fruit juice and coffee that was amongst the best we've had in holiday hotels. If you're not used to staying in older, budget properties you might find the hotel a bit of a challenge. For example our room had no window/balcony/verandah onto anything that could be called a view. The only window looked onto a 6 foot square common services shaft, but that's not too unusual for an old "city-centre" type environment where the streets are so closely crammed together. If you want a bit more luxury then you need to go somewhere else. If you want to be in the middle of the "buzz" then this hotel is an option. Amongst the hotel guests we met were some really nice older Spanish people. Thankfully we didn't meet the guests who were responsible for some unwelcome noise at different times of the night and who by their accents were from the southern end of the UK, quite embarrassing. In summary a decent place for a budget weekend that offers a great base to explore the many options that Benidorm has to offer.

Close to beach and old town
Unfortunately our hotel was double booked and we were offered alternative accommodation for two nights we excepted the alternative accommodation and found to our benefit we had been furnished with full board as an apology for the two nights other than living out of a suit case for two nights we didn't find the experience distressing in any way and have now discovered a hotel in a more appreciative position

Lovely hotel in a great location
Lovely friendly hotel in a great location one road back from the beach and the same distance to the centre of the old town. We only stayed bed and breakfast the food was very nicely presented very tasty and there was plenty to choose from. The rooms were modern and very clean and there was loads of hot water. We had a room on the front of the hotel with a small balcony and a sea view down a side street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Very small rooms
We booked half board for family of four. Also emailed the hotel asking for a nice room with a balcony etc. Well when we got to our room 307 it was tiny. Four single beds and the balcony you could fit one chair with standing room. It was clean and you could just see the sea at the one end of the tiny balcony. First night went down for evening meal. There was a very small selection. I had chicken and it was pink still inside. Didn't go down for breakfast until the day before we were leaving and the kids even felt sick looking at the bacon, fried eggs etc. So after paying for a family of four half board we had to eat out every morning and evening after paying for it. So it doubled the cost of the holiday. Not one member of staff spoke to us, except when we checked in and out of the hotel. Never again would I stay there. The only thing I can say it was a good location.

Basic but great location
Basic room, no tea and coffee, but clean and great location, almost on the beach and a minute stroll to old town and the tapas area. Quiet enough at night too. Staff very very friendly and efficient. All in all a bargain place to stay in a great location.

Hotel situated in the old town and difficult to find. No parking nearby. Close to the beach, an easy walk. Bars and live music make the night life convenient. Food typically local cuisine but fine if you are used to it. Only Spanish TV channels in the room but good WIFI. Good AC and beds fine. Clean room, no fridge. No pool but 5 mins walk to beach. Would stay there again.

Hotel Sol Old Benidorm next to Levante beach
Hotel staff all offered good service. Rooms were attended to every day with fresh towels. General cleanliness in Hotel was excellent. Hotel in great position close to Levante and old town. Not so good was the variation of cooked foods on offer especially on breakfasts. On the whole value for money on my trip and would stay there again.

A lovely place to stay
This hotel was lovely, the rooms were spotless, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, the beds were very comfortable and the food was the best that we have had at any hotel we have stayed in and the location was great. Our stay was so enjoyable we will be returning next year. The only thing missing that I could think of would be larger towels and a hairdryer. We have been to Benidorm on several occasions but this hotel, the location, the food cleanlisness and staff were the best by far. Thankyou for a wonderful stay

This hotel was masquerading as a 3 Star. We were offered the last possible room on the corner of the top floor, with a view of a close wall just outside the window. The room was dirty and the black hairs on the sheets and pillows made our decision to leave a straightforward option. The beds were hard and seriously uncomfortable - on a preliminary test There was no fridge for my wife' s medication to be kept cold but we were offered to share the fridge in the bar!! The reception staff were embarrassed and tried to get me to move to another hotel in their group ( I speak Spanish). This was a busy weekend in Benidorm so most cheap accommodation was taken up. We decided to go to the local Tourist Bureau and find a better hotel, which we did with a more truthful classification.

Good location. Rooms comfortable,but not 2 star.no fridge
Staff excellent. Location excellent. We chose to eat half board and very disappointing. Food often cold. A hairdryer and fridge in the roomwould have been good. Very clean, staff friendly, and very close to the old town. We may go again, but would not eat there as there are excellent restaurants close by.

Buena localización, mismo centro y pegado a la playa. Excelente comida casera, perfecta atención de la gente de comedor y recepción. Muy buen trabajo de parte del servicio de limpieza de habitaciones. Relación calidad precio no puede ser mejor. Muy recomendable.

Lo mejor, la amabilidad de Jayro, el recepcionista y de la camarera rubia del bar. Lo peor, las dos camareras fuertes y morenas del restaurante; una de ellas nos "echó" literalmente del comedor para que esperásemos fuera (sólo lo hizo con nosotros) y la segunda tras dos días de estancia nos abroncó injustamente y reprochó no llevar la tarjeta de la habitación cuando la llevábamos religiosamente en todas las comidas y nadie nos la pedía. Yo no tengo porqué saber si ellos tienen por costumbre amotarlo, no obstante, me reitero, como he dicho antes que la llevábamos siempre con nosotros. Nos sorprendió también no encontrar minifrigorífico en un hotel de tres estrellas en la playa en pleno verano. Suponemos que estos detalles lo tendrán en cuenta en lo sucesivo.

We kregen een upgrade naar een ander hotel van hun RH princesa. Het was een prachtig hotel mee super mooie kamers heel lekker eten. Zeker een aanrader, als alle rh hotels zo goed zijn, is dit een prachtige ervaring
