"Overall we had a positive experience staying here. The reason for not giving 5 stars was one of cleaning staff stole $100 from our room. We had momentarily left our room and did not think that in the short time we were downstairs, that cleaning services would be performed. We still had our personal belongings out and money was on the table. When we returned, we found that a $100 bill was missing. Management investigated their staff but found that no one supposedly had the money. Other than that experience, staff were friendly. Some spoke English which was positive as well, as my French is very basic and limited."

She truly elevated our experience because of her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. She always made sure that we (and actually all the guests) felt comfortable and received everything we needed. She helped answer all of my family’s questions and, despite our multiple requests, she never made us feel like an imposition. She also managed a beautiful and tasteful buffet in a space that was impeccably clean. We always looked forward to seeing her for breakfast or happy hour. "

"This 5-star hotel is located in Algiers Center, with parks and museums (Bardo, Antique & Islamic Art) in walking distance. Taxis are easy to arrange. My room had a great view over the white city and the Mediterranean. The hotel offers a nice variety of dining options, indoor and outdoor. I like in particular the photo gallery of famous visitors and the beautiful botanical garden. "
