The hotel was in its off season so it was under going some upgrades but they didn’t intrude on customers comfort. Truth is the area is so nice I didn’t spend much time in the hotel.

Property around the hotel where we had our breakfast was very nice. Room seemed dark and had a musty smell. Showers did not drain quick enough. Beds and pillows were worn out. The pool in the Pestana Atlantico was nice. Grocery store attached to the hotel was convenient. View out of our windows was not nice. Kept windows and curtains closed all the time. There was nothing to look at except streets and pedestrian and the emergency stairs. 😞

A very good place to stay and a great location for the fabulous beach, albeit a 20 minute walk to the centre of Alvor. The staff at the accommodation are superb and it is very good value.

The room was not sound proof with noise and light coming through the door from the halleay. Appliance in the kitchen was limited. Location is very convenient with beach just a few steps away.

While the area is beautiful, this property is totally in disarray. We booked a superior studio, and were given a room significantly worse than those pictured, including a large amount of mould in the kitchen, dirty sheets, a broken single stool in the kitchen, a used coffee filter in the machine, and duct tape covering the bright-green fire escape light. Upon complaining, we were moved to another room that was very little better — one set of blinds had to be held up by fishing wire, and while there was a kitchen, they neither did the dishes nor provided a soap and sponge so we could do them ourselves. They also did not replace towels unless specifically asked each day. We suspect this property was gorgeous 30 years ago, but it has fallen a long way and the only reason to stay there is the location, which admittedly, is excellent and near a gorgeous section of beach.

Team at property were great and so helpful. Expedia didnt pass on message left that we wanted twin beds and would arrive late, however we managed to sort following day. Building bit dated but cannot fault the cleanliness or location

The location is good. It was quiet when we were there, but it wasn't a busy time mid may. It's fairly old so be prepared for some niggles. We had a patio door not working so had to move rooms. In the next room the bathroom fan didn't work and the toilet seat was broken. Basically clean and decent sized rooms. Not too bad for the money.

Beautiful views from balcony. Door to open to balcony very stiff and noisy. Both sinks in kitchen and bathroom have plugs that do not fit, hense water drains away quickly.

the property is near a bus stop and the beach is in walking distance. Local shop for grocery next door. Dinning is available in the sister hotel next door, payment made at reception before going. Snack machines in reception area and seating and flat TV

Come for the beach and the views
Pros: Great location, a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to picturesque rocky cliffs. Nice panoramic views from our room. Easy check-in, front desk person was great and very helpful. Nice room with kitchenette, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. The ocean water was also very warm and swimmable even in mid October. 30 second walk to market for groceries/beer/wine. Good value for the price. Cons: Otherwise clean but dishes in cabinet needed an additional scrub before using. Not an area with a lot of character, it is all about the beach.

Good Base
The Hotel was 100m from beach and pool with well organised reception to help with all questions. Its classed as 3* and it fits its rating the real only issue was not being able to flush paper down the loo which surprised us in the year 2021.

Awesome stay!
Great location with walking distance beach access. Residences are amazing especially if you travel with kids. It has a fully equipped kitchenette and you can buy groceries at a small shop next to the hotel lobby (20 meters). I will definitely come back again.

We have stayed here twice now. The apartments are very clean and if you pay for a sea view room the views are amazing from your balcony. There are nicer places to stay but for a cheap place in a great location this is perfect.

Alvor !! the best place in the Algarve
The Hotel's photos shown in the listing are miles away from reality. Very uncomfortable bed, bedding dirty and bathroom stunned every morning. Staff is the only good about this place.

100% Recommend, Beach on doorstep, friendly staff.
The hotel is amazing, my room was on the 8th floor over looking the sea I would 100% recommend paying extra for the sea view. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by a welcoming smile from the duty manager Susete she went above and beyond helped us with every query we had which made our stay even better. I will 100% be rebooking this hotel when I come back to Portugal. The location is great 8mins taxi to the main parts and the beach is on the doorstep. I unfortunately didn't have time to use the outdoor salt pool and the indoor swimming pool but next time I 100% will. I would 100% recommend. I did not have one problem

Our apartment was cleaned daily, even though the literature we received with our key said it would be every orher day. Everyone on reception desk and in the supermarket was friendly Indoor pool was a bonus and not busy. Good location close to the beach. Knowing what we know now would recommend a sea view room as ours was a garden view, which really meant a road view. Only problem for me was the rock hard bed which was very uncomfortable.

Nice place but could be better
The staff at the hotel are excellent and it has a great location. On the downside, the room was never cleaned during our 3 night stay and there was a bit of an odour coming from the washroom...i managed to fix the problem with my plumbing knowledge but it's questionable why the hotel had appeared to try to fix it by installing an air freshener.

Thought the room was lovely and bright and airy - loved the balcony and kitchenette facility and well provided for. Rooms need a bit of attention to finishing off - need a little refurbishment as showing age - towels could have been of a better standard - some frayed and rather worn. Pool area lovely but needed a little revamp - damage to ceiling etc. Staff were really lovely and very helpful. Overall a great stay and would certainly return.
