The breakfast egg server was very unhelpful U would think poaching an egg would be easy. It seems u take what you are given My room was ground floor and had no view On the whole the hotel is great and reception and front of house staff fantastic

Poor overall. Rooms are tired and need TLC service is appallingly slow or non existent. Worst of all are the flies at the buffet. So many flies and it makes me gag. Feels like NH Hotels are really cutting back and it doesn’t have that luxury feel. Special mention for Joana(?) who genuinely seems to like her job and works tirelessly and special mention for the cats who are gorgeous.

All round top marks
Great location for the Vilamoura golf courses. Hotel staff were excellent throughout. One small thing to watch is that the complimentary shuttle to and from the course at Millenium is only available up to a certain time of evening (check before you go as we nearly missed it).

Fantastic Hotel
Outstanding hotel, super friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Very accommodating of all our various needs and changes to the plan. Excellent breakfast and pool meals. Would go again on a flash!

5 star hotel….1 star service ! In desperate need of staff training and mid management to solve issues. It’s also NOT dog f”friendly” , unless you have 1 tiny handbag dog and don’t need and proper areas , badly trained staff , missed dinner bookings, bad service … the restaurant manager was excellent and the breakfast staff were great . COULD be good but a lot of work needed

The property is very tired. No air conditioning in the common areas. Air conditioning in the rooms barely works. This causes lots of flies at the buffet and lobby. The pool area and the food at the pool are good at least. We had an expensive handbag stolen from our room by staff.

We stayed here in June for 6 nights, my wife and 4 year old son. The hotel itself is very high end, definitely ranks as one of the top hotels I’ve stayed in ‘aesthetically’ Service equally matches that, staff amazing, always helpful always smiling. Now I don’t have any criticism of the hotel, but it’s worth mentioning which type of holiday maker this hotel suits. If your on a golf break - perfect, this hotel was made for you. Literally surrounded by top courses and they even have golfing suites Young/old couples on a quiet break. Again this hotel will be perfect. Families - you’ll manage and enjoy it, but ultimately your money could be better spent elsewhere. Worth mentioning there was a handful of families at the resort. But overwhelmingly this hotel is more suited for adult breaks

The hotel is nice, but got back to the room at 3:30pm one day and our room had not been cleaned and had to call the front desk 3x to get finally get it cleaned 1 1/2 later which is unacceptable…

After a long wait due to COVID we wanted a wonderful relaxing holiday and boy did the Anantara deliver. The hotel is stunning with excellent large clean rooms great buffet breakfast and evening meal on our half board basis in the Victoria restaurant onsite. The staff are just fantastic, warm friendly and willing to help always with a smile. Claudio one of the staff was a constant delight he just seemed to be everywhere whether grabbing a drink at the pool or as a waiter in the evening. We would return in a flash

Best hotel we had been to in the Algarve
We had a very relaxing time. The free shuttle bus to vilamour was great and the free beach beds down at the marina. The breakfast was very good too.

Hotel is in quite a remote location, with no restaurants nearby, but shuttle to the beach is very useful as it drops you at Vilamoura Marina. No WiFi access at main pool but available at adults pool. Food and beverages in hotel are very good. Would recommend having a car - free valet parking is available.

Hotel was excellent clean and very friendly hotel what’s a bit far right but run free shuttle service into sister hotel at Marina this was an excellent service in the evenings the hotel is very quiet no atmosphere but would stay again
