The property is a bit outdated. The room is spacious and the view and surroundings is breathtaking. Breakfast is basic so the other services. Plenty of dining options in Ronda, some 25 km away. Almost none at the hotel.

This place is a gem. Very close to Ronda with amazing views and peaceful setting. The restaurant was ok. Get a room with a terrace you won’t regret. The staff is super helpful. The room was nice, and surprisingly comfortable bed, very spacious. And they have King size beds. There is an old bull ring on the rounds and you have to take a look. YOu will appreciate it more if you do the Ronda bullring tour. Rent a car is easy in Spain, and easy to drive on roads. Take a trip to the quiet town of Grazelema for some cheese and tapa. Enjoy.

We booked for two nights to chill out and just relax. This hotel lends itself to that. The room was very comfortable and the central heating kept our room nice and warm. We had to book for dinner and found the food tasty and well cooked. The wine was excellent. If you are looking to get away from crowds and happy communing with nature, then this is the place to go.

The entire property was beautiful and had an amazingly strong heater. Which is what you need in the time of winter. Would stay again. Amazing staff and delicious foods.

Outstanding for mid-week peace and tranquility.
A fantastic place for a mid-week chill out. So tranquil, so peaceful. Great place all round, lovely Spa, outdoor pool and most importantly, really comfortable beds in lovely room with a terrace view of the lakes. Simply loved our stay and we'll be going back towards the end of the year.

This is a beautifully positioned property with amazing views. It is a mix of traditional Spanish and modern architecture and set in extensive and attractive gardens. The staff were welcoming, attentive and very friendly and the food was delicious. We were so impressed that on the last day of our holiday in the area, we took members of our family there for lunch. Brilliant stay and we would like to return for longer sometime in the future.

Much, much better than expected. Highly recommend.
So much better than expected. Rural area that is absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean, updated, and elegant. Would make a wonderful wedding, event venue. Beautiful views of a white hill village in the distance, a very good breakfast (not advertised as included,but it was). Very helpful morning attendant. Perfect in all respects. At first our GPS was a little iffy, but it took us to the exact location.

A very nice comfortable place to stay
The hotel is run by a very helpful and pleasant woman. It is very quiet and comfortable. The rooms themselves lack some of the charm of a real Spanish style hotel, but the rest of the grounds are charming enough. Great views. For some reason we were given the one room in the hotel that did have stupendous views which was disappointing.

Beautiful Countryside Location
We found this place by a happy accident as we were traveling thru the White Villages. Conveniently located, beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff. And a Bull Ring! Excellent restaurant. So quiet and relaxing. A nice drive thru the mountains to several White Villages nearby. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. We really hated to leave.

Incredible views
Beautiful facility in the hills looking at the lake in the valley below Zahara de la Sierra. Good breakfast and nice grounds to walk around. Great room witg balcony with view. Only complaint is slow wifi...not in rooms and poor reception in common areas. Not consistant with rest of 1st class hotel.

Out of the way, but in a beautiful setting.
All very nice and meal in restaurant (nowhere else to eat) and for breakfast was very good. Setting and grounds with pool, just fabulous.

Quiet relaxing stay
We had a short but great stay. The hotel felt a little empty but it was normal since we stayed during low season. It is very isolated in a beautiful setting by a lake and excellent views of Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema national park. Great room views. I'd just recommend that the room decoration would be more Spanish instead of using English fox hunting pictures (in our room)

My dream of rural Andalucia made real
Let me start with my only real concern...and it is one that is pervasive of accommodations in Spain. The beds are overly firm...and Americans will find the convention of making a queen bed out of two twins less than perfectly romantic. That said...my partner and I loved this place. The grounds are beautiful, the vistas breathtaking, the location is a great jumping off point for visiting the many Pueblos Blancas in the region. We enjoyed the restaurant on site (try the eggplant in sweet sauce) very much. While this is neither here nor there...the grounds suffer from a tiny bit of kitsch-itis and the romanticism of the place would be well served by editing out some of the stone statues of gnomes and silly animals in the garden.

Great Rural Hotel Cortijo Salinas near Ronda
Lovely rural hotel close to Ronda and Grazelema. Located in an idealic spot next to to a beautiful reservoir and spectacular views. A boutique hotel with 14 differently decorated rooms with a lovely lounge full of comfy sofas and big open fire. The hotel could benefit from more available information on local activities and could also provide tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Just a short drive from Ronda, Grazelema and Sahara de la Sierra there's no shortage of stunning scenery and choice of walks, horseriding, birdwatching etc.

Great hotel for relaxation
This was a super find for us and just what we were looking for. Quiet setting with stunning scenery and a short 15 minute drive to Ronda. It is well worth exploring local hilltop villages and the hotel is well placed for this. We would suggest that you make sure you know how to find the hotel before you set out in the car, good map or sat nav is essential. The hotel is lovely, excellent friendly service from the staff and the room spacious and comfortable. Excellent bathrooms, very good showers. We highly recommend getting a room with a balcony- great view and the balcony is huge! We felt very at home at the hotel and would return without hesitation.

Godt hotel, men mest for spansktalende.
En enkelt overnatning på hotellet. Værelset var fint, poolen var dejlig og pæn, ligesom omgivelserne ikke lod noget tilbage at ønske. Personalet var dog ikke i stand til at kommunikere et eneste ord på engelsk, hvilket burde kunne forventes på et hotel af den karakter. Morgenmaden skulle bestilles, men grundet sprog barrieren, var dette ikke muligt, og vi fik derfor ikke morgenmad da vi forlod hotellet.
