On of the rooms was smelling so bad (like public toilet we couldn’t even sleep. No towels provided other than the ones given in the first day if checking in an they are old and worn off (not many of them considering Iceland is the area long hikes so showers required after end of each day. No slippers provided. Tea and coffee for room services provided upon arrival only. They took the sign for don’t disturb away after we used to request cleaning and We told them the room need some cleaning they folded the covers only without any cleaning done. It says direct access to beach while you need to cross the roads multiple times on 20 min walk to reach the beach. Breakfast really limited and coffee machine was not working most of the days. No juice provided so we needed to buy ours for people not drinking tea in the morning. One of the days we found hair in the waffle which add up to poor hygiene. All activities listed you need to pay for them.

Best location and best service

The staff was very helpful and everything was very clean. It’s a great location by the church and bus stop 8.

The hotel was clean, and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a quadruple room, which consists of four single beds. The bathroom was spacious, although the sink was quite small. The hotel is located on a busy road, so you can hear traffic from the passing cars. There are also no blackout curtains, which means the room gets very bright during the summer, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. In addition, the hotel has three floors but no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. The hotel is seriously overpriced. We paid around $400 USD for one night, and it definitely does not offer that level of value. Do not recommend.

The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. The only thing I don’t like is noisy. There’s washing machine noise all day and night, maybe just the floor we stayed. we couldn’t sleep well at night.
