My stay was fine, but somewhat tarnished as when I returned to pick up my bags no one answered the front door, and when I pushed the door it ended up being open and I recovered my bags and left the property without anyone noticing me..

Very welcoming guest house, clean and warm. Located in the charming Kemptown neighborhood with plenty of bakeries and coffee shops. Super close to the beach. Thanks for a great stay!

My wife and I arrived on Friday night much later than expected after a long journey in busy traffic. Staff there were very cordial and most welcoming. They could not have done more to help us relax. It was our first visit to Brighton - it’s wonderful, offering so much in culture, history and diversity. We hope to visit again and would book again.

Two night stay
Excellent hotel all staff very attentive and informed. Continental breakfast very good quality and ample choices which are brought fresh to your table upon order. Very quiet hotel and very comfy large beds. Only thing if you have problem with stairs hotel doesn’t specify floor number of each room which can be a problem as no lift. Location excellent just 1 minute from the front and close to many restaurants and pubs.

The cozy guest house was exactly what we needed it to be - close to the heart of the activity in the city, walkable to many different neighbourhoods and amenities, near the train station, steps from the promenade and cycling routes, plus a welcoming place to call “home” for a few days in the south of England. The staff were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond what we asked of them - service stars! If we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again - otherwise we will certainly recommend it to others.

We liked the hotel very much. It all started with a very warm welcome which couldn't prevent you from thinking that you would be among friends. Our room Legacija was rather big and comfortable. The bed was big and very comfortable too so we slept well. The breakfast was good. In case you need parking, you should be in touch with the hotel and they will advise you. The centre of Brighton is about 10 minutes of a leisure walk. The beach is just 1 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel has no lift but they help the customers with their luggage.

Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in the Moroccan room which we found to be comfy and in keeping with its name. A nice breakfast. Location is a nice distance from the town centre.

Perfect getaway!
Came for one night alone to get out of London. Absolutely loved it and will be back with my partner or send my parents. I stayed in the Orchid room which was perfect for one but might be a little tight for two more than a night. The staff is AMAZING - so welcoming, so helpful. Located on a quiet street a ten min walk from the Lanes, but lots right in the immediate area. Simple, thoughtful hospitality. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel
Blanch house was lovely, each room was unique in style and small but well equipped. The staff were lovely and could not do enough for you. Wonderful hotel. Great location. Would stay again.

The staff members are very friendly and made us feel very welcome but unfortunately the room (Moroccan themed room) was very smelly and outdated. The room has limited sunlight and has very old feel. I would definitely not come back

The hotel bedroom was comfortable and cosy. I slept well. The shower was really tiny and the water was lukewarm (rather than hot). The room was really hot when I arrived (I guess we're not used to having the heating on)!! Parking is available at Zone C for £14 for 24 hours. I had to park a couple of streets away. After checking out I realised that I had left my Samsung charger in the room. At first the hotel said it wasn't there. Then it turned out that the cleaner had found it and had taken it home in her handbag! So she had to return it - so that I could pick it up....

A lovely guest house - I stayed here a few years ago and while it has changed hands it’s still good. Great central location. The only things which could have been better is the coffee (very weak cafetière) and pillows too soft for my liking.

The noise from the pub really disturbed as Iam an early sleeper but couldn't until after about 11pm when the pub had closed. Also there was so much dust in the bedroom on the bedside shelves, on the lampsheds next to the bed, in the wardrobe where we hung our clothes and the carpet did not look that clean. The bed was not comfortable although the bedding was clean. However the bathroom, toilet and dining room were quite clean and all the staff we met were very friendly.The carpets for the corridors, stairs and lounge need changing as they looked old and stained.

Just spent another fabulous weekend in Brighton in another truly stunning boutique hotel. The staff, the service, the bedroom, the convenience of the location, the continental breakfast, were all perfect! Hopefully we will return sooner rather than later.

Lovely quiet hotel with really friendly staff. The room was lovely and very comfortable bed. Homemade biscuits next to the tea and coffee facilities was a really nice touch and oh so yummy!

Blanch House was so lovely. On arrival i was greeted by Faye who told me everything i needed to know about Brighton, inc recommendations. My room was clean and comfortable, the room was Alice. This room does back onto the pub garden of a neighbouring bar but the pub dwellers were moved inside at 11pm. Didnt really bother me as was out or sleeping just after 11pm anyway. This was my first solo trip and all the staff made me feel welcome and safe. I would stay again, Oh and also the cocktails are lovely. Thank you Blanch house!

This small hotel was easy to find, staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room & ensuite was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Will definitely visit again.

A real gem in and up and coming area .The lounge and cocktail bar with fantastic drinks menu are great addition to this boutique guest house . Our room was spacious and comfortable with opulent furnishings.Excellent service and attention to detail made our four night stay a real pleasure.

We loved Blanch House from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Faye the manager who gave us all the information relevant to the hotel and surrounding area. Kerry the owner was lovely too and so warm and welcoming. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute. We will definitely be returning.
