This is a very dark and old hotel, they had food for sale in reception but it was all out of date so couldn’t be sold

Great value through Expedia. Easy parking. Room clean and good size. Bed comfortable. Shower was very good. Only gripe the pillows were very hard.

The hotel is advertised as 24/7 front desk but on arrival no one there a note to say they would be back in 30mins. The receptionist said they are not paid for meal breaks.Room was ok and bed comfortable but lots of dust and I enclose a picturee of the radiator. The manager said the radiators are gradully beingvreplaced at 1 or 2 per month as they are expensive.

room seemed to be in quite a 'tired' property - electrical sockets uncomfortably loose, toilet seat yellowing, bath plug bust etc, however was a comfy large bed room size ample, plenty of coffee/tea etc in room, keenly priced snacks and drink extras at reception, good breakfast deal for the services next door which I thought was also first rate for the english breakfast I consumed. I particularly noted that a box of tissues is also provided, no iron or ironing board but there is a low powered hairdryer that works.

It was a very pleasant stay, the room does need some attention as the curtain didn't fit correctly, big crack in the bathroom sink and laminate flooring was peeling away from the wall but none of this affected our break

Wonderful staff
The staff at the desk were so helpful to me during my stay. I spoke to a couple of different staff at the desk and all were equally amazing at attending to my needs. They made my stay really enjoyable and helped me to navigate my way to a nearby wedding. The first night I stayed alone and felt safe. Nice comfortable beds. Would highly recommend.

Guy on reception desk - very helpful & resolved our terrible service/ issue we had with HOTEL.COM. i had received confirmation email from hotel.com. BUT hotel hadnt, so hotel had NO ROOM booked for us. HOTEL.COM online agent was off no use at all. At the end -hotel reception was able to book us a room. Which ended up being £20 per night cheaper then what we paid with hotel.com. I WILL NOT BE USING HOTEL.COM AGAIN. Now the bit about hotel - 1. it states hotel has parking, it dosnt... you use motorway services parking 2. Hotel generally is very tired looking with outdated decor & room furnishings. 3. Shower had no hot water & no power shower - it was completely useless. Not somewhere i would be staying at again.

For a budget hotel it was quite comfortable for a family of four and at a very reasonable price. The staff were great to us.

We received a warm welcome on arrival with unlimited tea and coffee on offer. The hotel is surrounded a a high grass bank which shuts out traffic noise giving a peaceful night's sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very roomy. Only two (very) minor comments: the hotel does not have its own car parking area so it is a short but level walk from the service area parking plus the room radiator had a few small rust spots starting to show through. Plus point was the provision of good quality loo paper. However, this was our first stay at a Days Inn and we were impressed.
