"All of the staff was very friendly.
Check in is at 4 and check out is by 11.
The location of this place was wonderful, there are lots of things to see with walking distance. If you didn't want to walk or use your car, there are golf cart rentals (from an outside company) which could be fun too.
The hallway had a funny smell but the room didn't. The room, while clean, is very outdated (as you can see from the other pictures online) and could use renovations and updates. It is a normal hotel room that is old, doesn't have any historic value to the furnishings so no need to have such outdated rooms.
The bed was super comfortable. You would want to bring your own soap and shampoo and conditioner. The stuff the hotel provides is very watery.
The breakfast was buffet line and the workers served you one plate which was nice. The breakfast was sausage patty, sausage links, eggs, southern grits, biscuit, gravy, French toast, choice of apple or orange or cranberry juice. On the side a couple of cereal options with milk and yogurt.
If you stay here, the Pig Out is a wonderful, fulfilling barbecue place a block over. You will want to walk to try to burn off some of those calories though. ;)"
"Tried to check in very late after a day of driving. Nobody there. Turns out lobby closes at 8pm. The system took our reservation and money with no warning the lobby was closed. Party and cook out happening in the back with loud music at 1:30 am. Stay away."
"It was our first time at a boutique hotel. It’ll be our last. Not the hotels fault, we just want more. The staff is excellent. The ac in the room was iffy. The WiFi was intermittent. The mattress was atrocious. The breakfast was ok."
"Check-in was easy and the staff was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection was below average with primarily waffles, cereal, yogurt and half cooked sausage. Overall ok and would stay again."
"The room smelled musty and felt damp. The shampoo had water in it to make it go further. I’m pretty sure my kids were bitten by bed bugs. One of our towels was dirty. Folded but dirty. The staff was great though. Check in was easy the lady at the front desk was very helpful. We even left something in our room and had to return to pick it up and they had it waiting for us. The views were nice too. Not sure I would stay again."
