The host was accommodating and I appreciated her willingness to accommodate my scheduling needs. The place was very clean, private and secure. It has the best storage I've ever found in a rental. A full kitchen is rare in a rental in this area, as is a full-size washer-dryer. Pip is a professional and thoughtful host. If you're a walker, Old Town is only a few blocks away, as well as some museums. I loved the pizza at the Golden Crown Panaderia. If you're into crystals, don't miss Mama's Minerals. A coffee shop that I haven't visited yet is at the end of the street. If you have a disability, note that the steps between the two levels of the casita are uneven in height and have no handrail. ##### Emmy S. It was an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to the convention center making it nice to be able to attend the meetings and then get away from the crowds at the end of the day. The location was also within walking distance of Old Town and the Rio Grande trail and convenient to the airport and the Petroglyphs. The unit was quite nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was up to date with fluffy towels. The complete unit was recently redone with beautiful hard wood floors. It has a complete kitchen, laundry and dining room. Pip provided detergent, paper towels, coffee, tea, olive oil and salt and pepper. So nice to have those basics. There is also a small grocery 2 -3 blocks away. A very nice tapas restaurant , although on the expensive side, The Cellar is across form the grocery. The Slate Cafe is also nearby and is a good neighborhood restaurant. There is also a Pizza Hut and Subway nearby. Pip was very helpful before and during our stay. A perfect retreat house for business or vacation travel! ##### Jane P. It is comfortable, very clean, and has many thoughtful touches throughout. The host left the fluffiest towels for me to use and has stocked the casita with everything I needed (first aid kit, kitchen appliances and utensils, laundry detergent, etc.). It gets lovely morning sun and has its own private courtyard. It's very private and the host is very respectful of your privacy but also more than willing to make recommendations and answer questions. I'm so happy that I selected this listing. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this lovely casita and recommend it highly to anyone traveling to Albuquerque for work or pleasure. This casita feels very spacious, is very clean and well kept, and was a quiet, peaceful place to rest at the end of our days. The garden outside is a lovely place to sit and makes this lovely spot even more tranquil and private. The location can't be beat- right downtown and easy to get pretty much anywhere in Albuquerque.
