In a building dating back to the 17th century (accessible by stairs), the Gîte du Vieil Albi is located in the favorite district of travelers visiting the city.
Perfectly equipped, it has comfortable beds with 2 separate sleeping areas, a very functional kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, a living room with flat screen TV, Wifi.
The view from the alcove room overlooks the Palais de la Berbie and the Place Sainte Cécile.

First off the good. - Berny the property manager was great -the location is great now for the not so great - There are 81 steep narrow steps to get to the apartment. This was not mentioned. - Property is listed as having both WiFi and cable/sat TV. It does not have either. - There was a strong waste/sewer smell from the from the shower drain -floor where the bed is is so slanted We would roll to the edge. - Low ceiling beam in the bed/loft area was a hazard in the night

Nice stay but not without issues
Casa muito confortável e com excelente localização. Gestão das chaves algo complicada pois havia apenas uma cópia e a porta do edifício só se podia fechar com a mesma. Todos estávamos dependentes da mesma chave para entrar e sair, algo a ser corrigido. Apesar de não ser grave, também nos separamos com falta de wi-fi e serviço de televisão. Alguns artigos essenciais como papel higiénico eram insuficientes. Mesmo assim a avaliação é muito positiva tenda a destacar a simpatia do dono.

Excellent séjour
Ce fut un excellent séjour, emplacement idéal au cœur de la cité épiscopale. Nous nous attendions à une forte chaleur sous le toit, mais le propriétaire avait placé 2 ventilateurs dans l'appartement et la chaleur était très supportable. La location est tout confort (douche et toilettes séparés très appréciable, douche individuelle et sans baignoire appréciable également). Abonnement de parking au Vigan (500 m) à prix très modéré pour une semaine. Marché couvert au pied de l'immeuble, ouvert tous les jours et très tôt. En résumé, un excellent séjour et le ménage de fin de séjour compris dans le prix de la location est un réel plus lorsque l'on doit/souhaite quitter le lieu de séjour tôt le matin. Propriétaire très sympathique. Recommande la location ( pour des personnes valides car il y a 81 marches d'escalier) sans hésiter !

Super emplacement pour visiter Albi
Joli appartement situé dans le plein centre ville, on peut tout faire à pied, y compris marché et supérette. Appartement fonctionnel, il faut quand même un petit effort pour y accéder par l'escalier !

Situation exceptionnelle du gite près de la cathédrale dans le viel albi
Outre sa situation exceptionnelle, l'aménagement de l'appartement est bien conçu notamment avec une cuisine bien équipée (lave-vaisselle). Tout était parfaitement propre à notre arrivée. L'accueil par le propriétaire est chaleureux.

Cet appartement est idéalement situé mais il gagnerait à être climatisé : chaleur étouffante sous les toits et comme il faut dormir les fenêtres ouvertes bruit soir et matin. Dommage car il possède tout l équipement nécessaire pour passer qqles jours à Albi.

bel appartement plein de charme au cœur de la cité historique
un accueil parfait de Berny. Appartement idéalement situé au cœur de la vieille ville entre la cathédrale (à 100m) et le marché couvert. beaucoup de charme et conforme aux photos. Bien équipé si on souhaite cuisiner et confortable. Un lieu idéal pour passer un séjour agréable. Nous reviendrons certainement!

Séjour Albi
Un appartement cosy et agréable à deux pas ( et cela au sens propre!!) de la cathédrale ainsi que du musée et du marché couvert. Les restaurant et bars sont aussi très proche. Bref c’est l’appartement de rêve pour un séjour à Albi.
