Staff noticed my mosquito bites on check in so included repellant with my turn down service the next day. 3\. Never had I had my feet washed as a welcome. 4\. "The Kayon Jungle Resort is nothing short of exceptional. We were blown away from the moment we arrived. The resort itself is stunning (even better than the photos) with one of the most impressive pool setups we’ve ever seen — seamlessly blending into the jungle. The atmosphere throughout was quiet, tranquil, and incredibly relaxing. Our room was huge and absolutely gorgeous. All staff were outstandingly friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention to Putu Ari, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and Deni (our lovely driver) To celebrate the team surprised us with a beautiful flower bath and cake which was such a romantic and thoughtful touch. I received a birthday blessing whilst having a floating breakfast...AMAZING!! All meals and drinks were so delicious, and the evening entertainment was fantastic. The acoustic guitarist was incredible— he somehow knew every song we requested — and the traditional dancers were captivating and authentic. We also loved the yoga sessions in the breathtaking pavilion overlooking the jungle — a truly serene experience. The Spa was incredible and one of the best we’ve experienced, leaving us completely relaxed and refreshed. We loved egg painting with Ranazurana too. Kayon Jungle Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We are absolutely going back — and next time, for much longer. Renee & Steve "

"Other than the beauty of the villas it was the little things: 1\. Front desk staff took time to research questions they didn’t immediately had an answer to. 2\. Staff noticed my mosquito bites on check in so included repellant with my turn down service the next day. 3\. Never had I had my feet washed as a welcome. 4\. Restaurant staff new our preferences after only one meal. 5\. Staff apologized to me when it was my fault I missed a class/activity. There’s more but, go experience it yourself. "

"This stay was magical. The private pool felt very luxurious and the bed was comfortable. The host gave us his WhatsApp, which we used to order food and spa treatments as well as any repairs needed to the room. He always responded immediately. They seemed very invested in giving us a comfortable stay. Note that the hotel is close to a main road, so there was some traffic noise, but nothing major. Also, our big tub didn't fill up so we couldn't take a bath. But we weren't too bothered because we were so busy with all the fabulous spa treatments. The massage therapists were very skilled and kind. While the food at the villa itself wasn't great, there were very good restaurants within walking distance. Overall, we loved our stay!"

"This resort is somewhat misleading as the grounds are GORGEOUS but the hotel needs some serious work in terms of food, provisions and accessibility. Bagus Jati is not at all walkable. You need to take a buggy from your room to the restaurant, spa, lobby, etc.. The food was also not good at all, we ate lunch and breakfast (buffet) one time each and were not happy with the quality. As the resort is VERY remote it is not possible to order food so I would expect a better food and beverage program. The staff and spa were definitely the highlights, I had a massage/ facial and hair treatment that were all amazing! The pool is also beautiful but not heated and very cold. I would also have appreciated a bar/ restaurant near the pool as the only restaurant onsite is very far! I felt dehydrated during most of my stay. Also something to keep in mind this resort is about an hour to an hour and a half from Ubud and getting transportation was very difficult and not possible at times other than expensive transport provided by the hotel. Looking for a very remote escape than this could be the place for you but I would recommend to stay closer to Ubud for ease of transport and accommodations. "
